So today I'm back sharing with you what I got Ellie for her baby hamper. I love doing these & started as soon as I knew she was pregnant. Hopefully this gives you a little bit of inspo if you have friends expecting a little one!

Jess everyone should have a friend like you! That’s a lovely thoughtful hamper and if someone made me that after having a baby I think I’d cry 😂 nobody apart from my cousin bought me anything but I really appreciated the radox set I got but I agree mums get left out after having a baby - some chocolate magazines etc can seriously pick you up after having a baby - if I ever make it baby no2 I’m making myself one of these with some nice pjs thrown in 🙈 x

I organised something similar for a colleague. I bought a baby bath, which my colleagues then filled with toys, a bowl/cutlery/plate/cup set for eating, with a bib, some clothes in big sizes (1 year or older), bath essentials ( thermometer, hooded bath towel, nail scissors, a sponge…).

Perfect hamper! Mums just get it when it comes to what other mums need with a new baby and post birth recovery! You really appreciate when people buy you the essentials 😊 I bought 2 packs of the maternity pads thinking that would be enough ... little did I know how many packs I would really need 😂 xxx

Ive done baskets b4 but never thought of wrapping each item indivually like that and putting what it is on the outside. May have to try that. I like to find huge wood reed baskets at thrift stores to use. Sometimes i spray paint them pink blue or white or light yellow. And wrap in cellophane with a huge bow pink or blue and a small stuffed animal with the bow. I like that you think about what you wished you had gotten and give that also that you didnt leave out the other sibling as well. Very sweet of you and for adding things you made yourself..put your heart into it that way💝

I would have adored any mixture of gifts like this. I understand everyone loves buying little clothes but it is all this kind of stuff that is really needed and appreciated the most. Hi jess . Wow you do look after your friends I wish I had a friend like you . Everything you bought is needed and a thoughtful gift. I like doing baskets for pressies then they end up as big box’s as I buy so much collecting throughout the months before the birthday or baby . I am due my sixth grandchild in 3weeks and I have filled two of the very large plastic storage tubs with clothes ,nappies, toys , bowls ,spoons everything you need for a new born . And mummy also. Anyway stay safe .xx

Such lovely presents!! I try and do a similar thing when my friends have babies. Go for the essentials!! And I love your dummy clips!! Are they quite easy to make? Fab essentials gift, but how about including a couple of eye masks maybe one that you put int the freezer for her during the labour bbecause as u know u get so hot and bothered and then maybe an ordinary one forher to get back to sleep when doing night feeds. Also I don't know what but u cld of added at least one thing for Daddy, even if it is a muslim or bib with something Daddy on it 🤷🏼‍♀️ just a thought 💭 👣👀💙💎 xx xx. Oops am I too late haha
