I discovered you this week, and have fallen in awe of your gentle nature. You are a blessing to me in my first productive week since my first baby joined us 9 months ago. This morning, I woke up at 4 (not on purpose, whoops!) and decided to watch a couple of your videos. They got me journaling about the home I want to build, a house of order, where peace and God’s presence can be found. Congratulations! My second baby is almost 8 months (my first is almost 2.5 years old). You'll figure it out as you go! I spent so much time worrying about the transition and it all went very well. My daughter loves being a big sister. It's challenging at times but it's just something we all have to take one day at a time. Best wishes on your pregnancy!

I absolutely love all the light that comes into your home. Light paint, different shades of wood throughout and your home is so bright and beautiful. To be able to go as long as possible without having to flick a light on would be amazing. We're getting there with our small little cabin that we moved into 2 yrs ago. I can't wait to get everything light and bright. That cabinet is beautiful. I normally like natural colored wood furniture but for something antique like that, those chests look beautiful when darker like that. ❤ Great find.

You’re the only mom RU-vidr I continue to watch. I’ve wanted to be a mom since I was a teenager and so far at 30 I’m unable to get pregnant. Your family is such a blessing and a nice way to imagine what a family could be like. Also the armoire is beautiful. We had 7 armoires in my house growing up. One as a pantry, one as a library, one with our homeschool supplies, one for office supplies and in each bedroom as a bookshelf and storage. They are great.

Soft music is so great for napping if your baby likes that. My son, 2, still takes a nap but it's all about the music! Without it he wakes up easily.

It easily could be because she makes most of their food from scratch. Delilah’s food doesn’t have preservatives, chemicals,or any other extras in it. Ok, it probably has a little of the nasties in it, but I’m sure it’s pretty minimal. They still eat pretty cleanly!! ( Like compared to me and other people, that make nothing from scratch!)

I'm the opposite with hair. I dislike anyone fiddling with my hair. I used to tolerate it if my kids or grandkids wanted to do it but I can't say it was fun. I don't like fiddling with my hair myself. Luckily my hair is pretty short and I don't even need to comb it. Just a 3 second fluff with my fingers and it's done. Hi from Queensland.

I know the feeling that rearranging probably gives her. I like to rearrange, also. U feel good that u have fixed things, to where it’s so much more handy, or just LOOKS BRTYER! And when things are handier when u are using them, almost daily, that saves a lot of time and energy! Unfortunately, I can’t rearrange anymore, because I live in a small apt!! I’ve already rearranged every way that I can, and I think it’s at its PEAK arrangement. I would have loved to have done something like that for a career!! I’m now retired. Missed that one, I guess.

I love that you put your kids to bed without giving them any milk. My 10 month old will not go to sleep without milk. He was going to sleep at about 3 months on his own, but now I have to nurse him to sleep, and I am working on weaning him off the breast by a year old. Oh, I think u are right!! She does favor Theo a lot!! Goodness, all 4 kids look like daddy!! But that’s the norm!! I guess kids are suppose to look like daddy, most of the time, so daddy knows, without a doubt, that his kids are really his! I obtained this info on a science show, on TV, about 15 yrs ago!! Had never heard of this before I saw that! But I started thinking of all the families I knew, or celebrators, and the kids do look like daddy, around 90 percent of the time!!!

Living in Europe (and in the city) it’s so odd to me that you’re stuck in home when your car is getting fixed. You never show your neighbourhood so I’m not sure how far from shops and parks you live, is it because you’re deep in winter still and it’s too cold to go outside? Or (probably, when my kids were little and I have just 2 😂) it’s such a pain to make sure they’re safe on the street and don’t run in different directions?
