I tried doing a continuous border on fabric that had different fabric from the center of my project. I put the measurements in for the border but it ended up stitching into the center of my design. What's the secret to getting the border stitched out in the exact area you want the border?

I don't get that same icon on the bottom right of the screen. Mine says Embroidery. The icon was under my pattern in memory but when I select the entire pattern and the first stitching shows on the screen, the continuous icon isn't there.

I notice that the fabric after the second hooping has lots of wrinkles in it. Doesn't that mess up the design? Or cause misalignment, or puckers or something?
