I'm trying to embroider this exact same design but my border doesn't end up connecting to the first stitch of the pattern. I have about a 1/4" gap. The top of the border connects perfectly but when it gets around to the end, I have this gap. Why is this happening?
I think I figured out why my pattern isn't connecting. I don't think I had my fabric tight enough in the hoop but I seem to have a different issue and that's that the second piece of the pattern doesn't fit correctly in the right side of the placemat I'm making. I see your pattern didn't fit either unless I misunderstood where you wanted the pattern to fall. Your right side over laps the 1" border on your fabric. Is that what you wanted? I can't seem to figure out the correct dimensions so that my border lies perfectly in my border area.
