you are such a great instructor. I like how you explain everything very clear and slow. I have been watching your videos for a while now. So when I saw you showing how to use this embroidery machine I just had to watch you. Thank you very much for the tutorial. I enjoy your videos.
Thanks for the demo and instructions! You always provide such great info and you don’t go too fast for me to follow along. This is the same machine I purchased last year, and it is a dream to sew with. I have not used the embroidery feature yet and your tutorial helps so much. I can’t wait to try some new projects for the holidays.
❤ Lifesaving video! Putting my machine back together after losing most all in storage when hit by Hurticane Ida. Scattered parts, and YOU made the puzzle easy to piece together. Beautifully spoken, a documentary putting me back to a fresh new start. Never even got to use b4 flooding! Thank you!!!
This is a nice machine for a entry level. I have it as a second machine for 4x4 embroidery or to sit and sew while watching TV as it is so portable and does not take up a lot of room.
Thank you so much!! I’ve had my babylock verve a while and been so nervous to embroider…I’m going to try right now because you’ve explained everything so well!
Hi Michelle. I am so glad the Verve tutorial was helpful. The best was to start doing machine embroidery is to just turn it on and press start - LOL. Hope you have fun. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Tina. I have many quilt project tutorials. Here is a link to block #1 that is in the quilt behind me -- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5uR46KRsKTQ.html Happy sewing. 😍
At first I thought it was a Brother, mine did come with all that extra plus the little table. I read somewhere that Brother & BabyLock come out of the same building.
Wow this price is a steal ! Ty for sharing ! I can’t find the link to your trip to this store ! But I will check out the link to there store ! I love to support local business!
One last thing not to knock a brother ! I have a couple brother sewing machines one entry level one cute with the table ! My girls sew on that but I have a quilting lots of stitches but it’s also a quilting mainly a quilting ! But I’ve heard this brand is made by maybe it with brother but I think this is the Cadillac version ! But wow is this like brother we’re you don’t have to stick with pricy software I like that ! I have the smallest first viking it’s nice but it is way more basic ! Plus I have to spend a ton to upgrade ! I’m very Interested in this machine ty very much !
Omg, thank you! The ending with the pillows (subscribe, like) is adorable! Love that idea. Which machine should I look at if I wanted a few more built in fonts and a larger embroidery field?
Hi Sew Fab. I recommend you visit a dealer store and test the different machines. They can explain the differences in all the machines. They also usually give a free lesson with purchase of a sewing machine. Happy sewing, and Merry Christmas. 😍
All I can say is wow ! Now this is nice ! Lord forgive me you get what you pay for gal ! That being said a lot but these brothers machines that I just personally when geting into embroidery ! Now may I ask do they have extra software that you can add in packages !? Sorry to ask you so much ! Lol
Hi Lifes A Handful. You can do small designs on shirts and sweat pants. If you want to do bigger designs you might want to upgrade to a machines that has a larger hoop. Visit a sewing machine dealer store to test the different machines out. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
One last thing lol in embroidery ! When you are at your final finish on the display but instead of touching embroidery like you did before ! What is that pocket !? Do you know what that does ?
Great tutorial! May i ask? Are there only a few of each of the options, (limited of everything you shown, designs, etc) then wouldn’t one have to purchase to add extras to go on the Baby Lock or load ones on from their own sites already bought? They don’t come with too many designs , only fonts?
Hi Connie. I only showed a few of the fonts and designs that are built into the Verve. There are many more built into the machine. Yes, you can go to other websites and download other designs, and fonts. Some websites have some free designs, and others charge a fee. I have a Baby Lock Solaris, and it has hundreds of designs and fonts -- it cost me around $10,000.00. So the Verve (entry level machine) is a bargain. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
One last question I have seen some machines have quilting stitching ya know what I mean ? Does this one have that or can you add or buy more to do this !? This is perfect sherl !
Thank you very much....One more question....I bought basic tear away stabilizer....and also some cut away....If I am going to be just using cotton material like for quilting which is the best? I know it depends on the material like I said....it's just basic cotton material for the grandkids when I make blankets as to put their name.....can you help....thank you for the other answer I appreciate it
Hi Lilly. I do not know if this machine does. I would go to a dealer store and ask for a demonstration on one of their machines that has that feature. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
Hi Matt. Make sure you go into a dealer store that sells these brands. Have them demonstrate both machines. Ask if they offer a free class on how to use the machine. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
@@TheSewingRoomChannel thank you! I ended up doing just that and turns out they're actually the same exact machine because Brother manufactures both their own machines and Babylock (up to a certain level at least). The only difference is that Brother is licensed to have official Disney embroidery patterns. Thanks so much 😁
@@matt.coignard which one did you end up buying? I’ve been looking at machines for so long and really want this one but nowhere around here carries it since it’s been replaced by the Aurora.
@@LizzieTorres22 I ended up going with the Brother 1750D. I called like twenty random sewing machine dealers and asked them all the same question - "what's the difference between the Brother 1750D and Babylock Verve?" - and all except one gave me the same answer - they're the same exact machine (at least the internal mechanisms). Evidently Brother, up to a certain model, manufactures all the machines for both Brother and Babylock. Internally, they're the same machine except some are labeled as Brother and some are labeled as Babylock and they obviously look a little different on the outside. So for these two machines, the Brother 1750D and Babylock Verve, 19/20 dealers said the only difference between the machines is that Brother has a license with Disney which meant the 1750D has officially licensed Disney embroidery designs built in and Babylock doesn't. I think I ended up paying an extra $100 for the Brother, but the shop gave me a discount since they didn't have the Verve in stock. Sorry for a whole essay to answer your question 😅
@@matt.coignard I appreciate the essay lol it definitely helps since there’s no brother dealers within 50 miles and not seeing in person is not very helpful. Your response was very detailed and helpful! If you don’t mind me asking, where did you purchase yours?
@@TheSewingRoomChannel Hi, I was given a baby lock emore. I realize it is antique, but all the images inside the machine work fine. There was also a brother ped basic machine with flash drive and some cds with designs. My question is: Do I have to have an operating CD with my laptop? How do I copy images from laptop to the ped basic? There is also a short wire going from laptop to machine. How does that work?
