It must have been a difficult decision to take her in with as much time as it takes to care for her at the moment. I imagine you have to be very selective of what you can and cannot take in so it's good to see her getting the care she needs! OMG she is so cute. the way she walks and how hungrily she devoured the pear and carrot actually reminds me of a kitten I once took care of for a friend. her favorite thing was to try and lick at pears when I had them. She was born a runt and was unable to suckle from her mom so I bottle fed her. She was born to my friends litter but she had no experience with newborn animals, the mother was also rejecting her (taking her from the nesting area and leaving her in the hallway or downstairs) so I was over there a lot giving her warmth and cuddles while my friend was at work or with the other cats. A few weeks later we found someone to adopt her, and all three of us tried to think of a name, eventually she responded to 'Ariel' which I think is a very pretty name, it's my suggestion, because this little porcupine reminds me of that kitten.

My top choice would be... Trix (or Trixie)! It's a play off of her species's scientific name (Hystrix Cristata). Alternatively there's also.. Crista or Cristi? Other than that there are a lot of nice North African names, like Tasa (my favourite), Nada, Rania, or Hana? Or just call her Apple? She likes purée and there are human beings named Apple, so why not a porcupine?
