Hello Good People. Baby Reindeer is a great show on Netflix, and they say it is a true story. However, the lawyers have gotten involved, and they're about to decide what that means and if the real life stalker will get hundreds of millions of dollars in "damages."

This speaks to a larger issue of accountability from law makers to punish female premeditated malicious intentions and sabotage. Women are given to much acceptance of evil actions without consequences, from each other, from men, and by society at large in western culture.

@@gadeyeye6268 no just because someone has a different opinion than you it does not mean they are trolling. I agree with them, but I am a woman who was stalked by a man and my local authorities did nothing for over a year. So obviously my opinion is biased, just as I’m guessing you have your reasons for believing the way you do. But in reality, there are a lack of laws against stalking in this country so many men and women get away with it.

This s a true story is TYPED on a laptop by the character Donnie! It is 100% a true story of Gadd writing the screenplay! and it is only written once! This was the characters true strory! And there is a disclaimer at the end of every episode! Neither Netflix nor Gadd has ever said it is about Fiona Harvey, she decided it was about her, she outed herself!! Omfg this is a sick world if she gets a penny! This has been a play for almost 10 years - she never said anything before because no one platformed her before for clicks!!!

You should have mentioned that on one of the the Piers interviews, one of the guest asked the question, is she stalking you? Piers answered there were some calls and emails that we had to clear up, paraphrased. The guest took a pregnant pause. Piers admitted that the producers were having problems with Fiona. What a pyscho...

The background check that they did was a BASIC check which only show "unspent" convictions and doesn't show warnings, etc. If she had a stalking or harrassment conviction it would be "spent" and would not be on a basic check. They need an enhanced check such will show everything.

Yes, a much simpler explanation is that this type of background check is that it displays very superficial information about someones criminal record, seems like very violent crimes, recent convictions, probably the purpose of this is to display an indication that a person could become easily violent. Also any kind of these checks will never display convictions that were spent on a mental institution, which seems to be the case based on reports of people that crossed her path in the 2000s. But what seems to be confirmed is that she hasnt gone to prison for what she did to Richard Gadd and instead Richard said that the matter is "resolved".

We have a similar "broadcaster" in my country(a person who failed to gain a position in mainstream media because of their conduct and now they have a RU-vid channel), although that person is much more biased, racist and extremist and that's what you see in his show, that's why i had a gut feeling that this show would not be totally objective and Piers Morgan biases would be further exaggerated because there is no rules and regulations for him, so if the opinions of his guests matches his worldview he is not going to question it that much...
