Welcome to The Frey Life daily vlogs! We are Peter & Mary, a married couple in our early 30's, showing the ups and downs of everyday life with #CysticFibrosis, a genetic lung disease that Mary was born with. In August 2019, Mary started a new CF medication that changed the trajectory of our future, and life has changed dramatically - including our son, Elijah, joining our family in December 2021. We also have an adorable standard poodle, Oliver, and a hairless sphynx cat, Harry. It's our hope that these videos can be an encouragement to to celebrate the little things in life and find joy amidst a world full of hard realities!

There's actually a reason why snow days feel so quiet! The fresh snow has lots of little air pockets between the flakes and those pockets absorb sound. As the snow settles those pockets go away, so it's only with really fresh snow.

There is something so magical about the first snowoday. Everything is muted and untouched. The sun put makes it even more beautiful. Especially when it's experienced with a little bebe. 😍

When on earth is that going to happen....They are being very frustrating how they haven’t even addressed the fact that they haven’t shown their child I don’t think they can do to adoption laws for a certain amount of months but it seems like they’re not gonna show the child ever it’s just really frustrating to have all this content around the child and not actually showing the child’s

@@katiemckinney7921 I don’t know why they are not showing him,but they must have a good reason. They are keeping him safe I guess. I am just happy for this couple and the baby, is so blessed to have them for his parents.

It would be nice if they would address this. Will they show his face ? I’m sure the adoption may be why they haven’t but to not mention it, it just seems odd.

Elijah’s first Snow Day! Cool! Literally, cool! Another first, pulling daddy’s beard LOL. You two and your made up songs….so cute! Watching Ollie digging and frolicking in the snow was so sweet. Dear Freys, I'm just catching up with you, after missing a year of videos, I think. It's lovely to see your journey now, and I was just crying at your first days with your baby. My emotions are so huge right now, both because I was adopted, but from and to abusive families, and because, while I hoped someday to have my own family, finally thinking that I might adopt, my health will not allow that now, and I think that I'm seeing the last days of my life's journey instead. I wish that I could experience the love of family that you have now. Please cherish your child, and please send prayers to me and those like me who may never know the privilege of family that you are enjoying now.

Last year, on January 8, 2021...our grandson had his first snow day, no one had even seen him. Remember how everyone went crazy...he was born the day before.

I was wondering the same thing..maybe he is just snuggled up somewhere keeping warm….he doesn’t get as much time snuggled in Mary’s shirt….he may have had to resort to some other means to keep warm and snuggly…lol. He has to share his momma and papa now…and with no hair, you gotta do what you gotta do 😂😉

They moved there a couple years ago to be closer to the hospital where Mary would have a lung transplant, if she were to have one. They were in New England before that.
