Being a parent while battling mental health is a whole other type of struggle!! I'm a mom of a 14 month old boy and waiting on diagnosis for adhd/add. Be honest with your Dr about all side effects ok That's really important when just starting meds. Keep track of them for your next appointment. Be proud of yourself because just admitting you need help is breaking that cycle! You're showing your son it's ok to feel and express it and when you need help with it, it's ok to go out and get it! You're showing him exactly how strong you are to help yourself so you can be the best for him! You're speaking up and being honest and doing the right thing for you and your family. That's definitely something to be proud of! I hope you take a sec to be proud of yourself ya know. You're gonna be ok girl. I just know that.
