Good reaction and you are right about Su, she is an incredibly talented vocalist and performer. This was at the Budokan in Tokyo in 2014 so she hadn't long turned 16. The Budokan is a martial arts arena built for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and has also become a very prestigious music venue ... the Beatles were the first to play there. Babymetal are the youngest average age female band to headline there - and they sold it out two nights running. Other Su-metal solos include 'Rondo of Nightmare', 'Amore' and 'No Rain, No Rainbow' (her Legend S performance of that song will bring you to tears even though you won't understand a word).

Well like said I did try to put up no rain no rainbow I think you would of like that reaction I was nearly in tears and I think you can see that in my face I am going to try to get it up there and thank you for your comments

And she’s only gotten better. Scary to think what we are going to see from her in the next few years as her voice reaches full maturity.A lot of fans thought the band would end when Yui left but I think the best is still to come

Babymetal hasn't come close to peaking yet. Suzuka will have a very long career, and I'll follow her, no matter what she does...

⚡ / 🔴 🌙 Guitarists that night were Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura. As usual BOH was on bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums. Su doesn't need to fear any of the pyrotechnics because she is made of fire. : ) That solo (and Rondo of Nightmare from the same concert) are what sold me on BABYMETAL. Before that I liked them, and thought the whole idea was a lot of fun, but seeing Su in full Metal Queen mode turned me into a diehard fan. An interesting thing about 'Akatsuki'. It's written by combining "Red" and "Moon". Which helps explain the red moon imagery BABYMETAL uses in many of their concerts. On the track listing the character "Kurenai" (often translated as a deep red or crimson) is used instead of "Red" as a tribute to the X-Japan song of that name.

I ant Babymetal would work with Rammstein some day, so they can learn even more about using pyrotechnics :-) Also a Red Moon at the end of Headbanger MV...

Thank you again for all the info I am going to try to get No Rain No Rainbow up there isan older one when the 2 girls play the piano I will try that one well I can see you are a diehard fan: like you I heard Babymetal a while back and just thought it was a fun band but after listening to that song what can I say superb

@@OldMrB The version of 'No Rain, No Rainbow' that has Yui and Moa in front of the piano is from 'Legend 1999'. That was the first time the song was performed, back in 2013. It's only been performed live 5 times, including both of the 'Legend S' concerts in December 2017. The other 2 times were at Budokan Black Night (2014), and Tokyo Dome Black Night (2016).

Rick Wagner Considering all the many times I’ve heard this and that being a Babymetal tribute to a certain band, usually either Metallica or X-Japan, it is to their credit that they don’t seem like a tribute band at all.

Yes, Suzuka/Su-metal could maybe do that all on her own, but at the very least we can mention one reason: when she was young she could not do a whole show. The other 2 girls actually also have duo songs. So when Su-metal does her solo, the other 2 take a break and the other way around. Also when Su-metal turns into Suzuka off-stage, she can be a bit ... adorkable. A bit to much in her own world/mind. So the other younger 2 can actually guide her at times LOL

from one old bloke to another . love what you are doing sir . love babymetal / band maid i got to see Babymetal live in Manchester 2020 February 22 before covid 19 . they where incredible live the sound was so good crystal clear very very loud and Su's vocals where perfect not to mention Moa's smile and stage antics we got to see Momoko metal as the avenger and the metal gods of the west backing band . well Babymetal have just announced 10 nights at the Budokan next yr so i'm off to see them in Japan with hopefully the kami band cheers mate all the best :)

Yeah most of reactor video of that song got block,amuse really make a big deal of people using their song in youtube,u need to pause a video a several time to avoid it getting block..dont give up 🤟🦊🤟

@@miseryillussion6259 Actually, the blocking of RoR started a couple of months ago and went away again. Maybe because of the region he's in, these things work by region too. Because it's not just Amuse, but actually the distributor that is also involved and handles it for them.

One of my favs. Best band (tho I slightly prefer Mikio Fujioka to Leda on the black guitar), Su at 16 and in top form, feeling a powerful heart wrenching song, only threads of red (blood) between them... For crowd control and speedy musicians try Road of Resistance live. For completely different style and storytelling video try Karate MV. For quintessential BabyMetal try Megitsune MV (vixen maidens May cover their emotions but won’t deceive to manipulate), and to see them conquer the West you must see ijime, dame, zettai live at Sonisphere 2014, ages 15,15,16, complete unknowns enter the UK in Epic fashion, of all things singing (just after a PSA) against Bullying! Enjoy

Thank for you comment but the sad news is that I did put up Road Of Resistance Live only to have it blocked by RU-vid. Su with her voice is only going to go forwards the whole band is just superb

@@OldMrB If you can put it up on another platform (vimeo, bitchute, Dailymotion or ReactorHub are used by some reactors) then put a video on RU-vid to give us the link and for somewhere to add comments that would be great. Sadly Road of Resistance has suffered a lot from being blocked lately.
