On the left at the start: Moametal (Moa Kikuchi, born on 7/4/1999), the lead singer in the middle is Su-Metal (Suzuka Nakamoto, born 12/20/1997) and the young lady on right is Yuimetal (Yui Mizuno, born 6/20/1999). This is one of the more pop sounding tracks on the latest (second) album, Metal Resistance. It's kind of the successor to "Gimme Chocolate!" from the first album (BABYMETAL). The "Gimme Chocolate!" music video is their most viewed on RU-vid, and the song they performed on the Stephen Colbert Show as their first US TV appearance.

Their dance choreographer is actually a famous choreographer in Japan, she also did the choreography for the Japanese part of the closing ceremony at the Olympics this year (Japan will be hosting the next Olympics in 2020). She works with many groups in Japan. Her own group was recently on America's Got Talent. As a dancer what did you think of the dances ? Or how it fits the music ?

BABYMETAL! \m/ Yep they are a band. Blowing up all over the world. Currently supporting the Red Hot Chili Peppers in UK, and Metallica and Guns n Roses in Jan. They are also getting their own cartoon in the US I request more! Please give "Road of Resistance Live in Japan" a try off their official youtube page. One of the best live performances in music EVER!

FYI: The choreographer for Babymetal is Mikiko Mizuno (no relation to Yui). Mikiko also is the choreographer for the highly popular Japanese group Perfume. Mikiko was also the official choreographer for Japan's part of the closing ceremonies of last summer's 2016 Rio Olympic Games and is currently being considered for the honor of official choreographer for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic ceremonies as well.

It's a good song to react to. Personally Awadama Fever is one of my top favs. If I were introducing a new person to them, I would probably start them out with Catch Me If You Can at budokan on black night. You can jam a bit to just the music and hear solos from all of them... then the girls come bouncing out and do the cutest dance routine. I think it's a good first pick cause the music sucks you in, then the girls kill you over with their cuteness and catchy tunes. Their history is rich, deep, and full of extreme cuteness. They've worked all of their lives to be where they are now, and it is oh so satisfying seeing them get bigger and bigger.

BABYMETAL is unique in music, dance, and show. Endlessly entertaining. This song is their most over processed sonically. Suggest you try their official videos, starting with Gimme Chocolate, Road of Resistance, or Megitsune.

The lead vocalist Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-Metal) turns 19 on Dec 20th 2016 . The other two are Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal) who turns 18 June 20th, 2017 and Moa Kikuchi (Moametal) who turns 18 on July 4th 2017. They've been doing Babymetal since late 2010!!

The best babymetal songs to react to are "Karate" or the song that made them famous "gimmie chocklate". Either will get you lots of views they have fans all over the world. They started when the lead singer was 14 and the 2 dancers were 12 Look at the video doki doki morning in 2012.

Me too! An "official" video of it was released on RU-vid way back in November of 2015 and I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. Literally, within an hour of seeing that "Awadama Fever" video, I had looked at Babymetal's official website, found their upcoming tour dates and a venue somewhat near me, bought tickets and booked hotel rooms for that date. I really don't know why RU-vid or Amuse took that video off in December of 2015, but it still can be found on other video websites.

I hope you'll like their other songs as well!! You got a bunch of other comments like this, but mind if I recommend some other songs of theirs to listen to? Headbanya!!, Doki Doki Morning, Ijime Dame Zettai, Catch Me If You Can, and Yava! are all great songs to start with in my opinion. Their music has a lot of nice variety to it. :3 And maybe check out Sakura Gakuin too - a much more J-Pop style group that BABYMETAL originated from. :D

In this video performance, which I believe is from the April 2016 Wembley Arena performance, they are 16, 18, 16. Currently, both Yuimetal and Moametal have had birthdays since and Su-Metal (lead singer) will turn 19 on the 20th of this month.

Ahhhh! YOU are the one who suggested to "Joe Fant" reacting initially to "Karate"! Good call! I agree, I have never seen a first time Babymetal reaction to "Awadama Fever", I think it is not totally dissimilar to "Gimme Chocolate" in content. Both are catchy as hell and both have great music, vocals, and choreography.

+Raul Saucedo Actually, it initially was the first video posted from _Metal Resistance_ over a year ago. It is what convinced me that I had to see Babymetal live and after watching it a few times, I went to Babymetal's website, found the details of their 2016 tour, located a venue that they were going to be at that was relatively close to me (five hours away) and bought tickets, all within an hour of first seeing "Awadama Fever". For some reason in January, Amuse/RU-vid decided to remove the posting and it is not been back on since.

One of babymetals most dull songs. go check out Road of Resistance Live from Japan. Thats exciting..or Megitsune for some cool japanese style stuff...but this was perhaps the most dull video they have on a very lame song. (and I am a BM fan)
