While Miko is a very good singer, this is a teenager vs an adult voice, When Su-metal started singing she basically was saying to the world "this is my song."
@@KeithDaviesMusic Seen them with my own eyes 3 times, and while I don't disagree with what you're saying, Babymetal is legit. At most they might have triggered double kick, but given what a beast Anthony Barone is, I doubt that too.' They just give a fuck about their craft, and are that good live. They're a reason I immediately put them in my top 3+ shows of all time, having toured the world and seen like 1000s of sets. Babymetal just brings it, there's no 2 ways about it.
Miko has alot of potential, she is already a really good singer just waiting to explose her skill. BUT... when Su take the mic the difference is so... obvious... the final part got me... this is not the end of BM, just a new beginning and for Metalverse i wish them the same way.
As a hard metal lover, those drums and guitars kill it!!! With the vocals it's like a opera. I am fascinated with their work, truly something that F*@king badA$$!!!
Wow.. I have to say I was a bit worried for Su-Metal as Miko opened with the first verse. She's very impressive - Clean, strong vocals, and surprisingly confident. Not only that, she's pretty to look at, in a KPOP idol style way. I wondered if BABYMETAL would seem obsolete, familiar and tired in comparison. The stage was deliberately set with two groups at the same level, side by side, to allow a brutal comparison between the two. Miko was throwing up a challenge - and she got through her part in more than convincing fashion. Metalverse girls even wore a confident smile, while I thought even Moametal seemed less smiling than usual. At this point, I wondered how Su-Metal might be feeling. After more than a decade of countless repeat performances of her songs, all the tiring hours of endless, tedious practice and travel, and perhaps on her mind the fact that BABYMETAL's best days are behind her. Now, performing on a live comparison stage, she was being made to "compete" with younger girls chosen to be her replacement.. would she be feeling indignant? I have to admit I felt a bit sorry for her.. Then she began singing, and I got goosebumps all over. I don't need to describe her performance, she simply demonstrated again why she is a legend. It made me ashamed that I dared to worry for the queen. What an unforgettable performance.
@zetecryt I was confused by this idea of putting the two groups of girls on the stage together! I think you've resolved the matter very well. I guess this was a clever idea in someone's mind but Su is incomparable and will retain the love and loyalty of her millions of fans for as long as she cares to perform. Also, I don't like it when Babymetal perform with old rockers and such like.
@@lunaris7342He means that Miko's style is similar to Kpop.... Maybe he was referring to Jpop. And maybe, also, their language is not English, sometimes we help ourselves with Google Translate to be able to understand and make ourselves understood. I hope I haven't expressed something wrong. Anyway...those girls are great!!
That's why I hate kpoop fans There is no original style in k pop music and fashion. They just copied Japan and the West What is the style of kpop? Does kpop style mean having surgery to make your face the same as the members around you? It's much more attractive if each person is unique, rather than all having the same plastic face. They don't even sing live at their concerts. Just lip sync and dance like a porn dancer. I don't even look at kpoop music as musicians or singer. They just play their back tracks and dance, lipsync at own concerts. This is not called a musician or singer. Making the fan pay for a lip sync concert is never called a singer.
back then old fans werent welcoming about her, but the moment she filled that spot i already respected her. glad she stuck around, still love yui but i respect Momo for completing the three-member band again and shes good at it.
@@winterume I don't ever remember the fans hating on Momo? She was filling in at the Forum in 2019 and I remember seeing her get like shouted out by some diehards. Most of us didn't know who she was because the avengers were a little known concept at the time, but I've never seen anyone upset about Momo or Yui needing a break.
Wow !!!! Just WOW !!!!!!I was at the show in NYC last Friday night and it was amazing, but I wish I could have been at this concert, seeing the excellence that is Baby Metal. And I found Metalverse quite talented, they seemed to have everything down pat. They really have brought a new face to Baby Metal for 2023 and beyond. I was sad that Karate wasn't on the setlist for my show, it is one of my favorite songs from Baby Metal.
I'm pretty sure if falls under fair use, b\c he can claim it's for review\and it's like thousands of others that post music videos.... :) AND YES WE ALL LIKE IT... BABYMETAL --- THE FOX GOD KNOWS!!!!
If I am correct Metalverse belongs to Amuse too (their website it run by them) so they don't need to worry about it. However it feels a money grab attempt making their secondary band(s) so similar to Babymetal. At least they should make then different outfit! Even the singer looks so similar to Su!
3:07 Siento una ola de sentimientos es demasiado... ellos logran transmitir, no solo pasan a traves del oido, si no que han sido capaces de tocar el alma.
God dammmmmmnnnn……. I really hope Su branches out and does other music, her voice is phenomenal. Obviously BABYMETAL forever but Jesus… Kinda sad they aren’t baby anymore but ironically the music is WAY better now.
Personally I have to disagree; I really miss that "kawaii" sound that they used to have. Obviously they are grown up now so they can't really do that anymore, but the music is just not as fun as it used to be. It's not as energetic or intense, and most importantly - it's not as heavy as it used to be 😭. Their latest album is just plain and boring j-rock music that sounds like every other j-rock band, so that's disappointing, yet for some reason everyone else is just eating that shit up like it's the best thing ever. Hell, Yui and Moa used to do quite a bit of the vocals in the older songs, but for the last few years Moa and Momo have been demoted to just plain old backup dancers while Su takes the spotlight for herself. Makes me sad because this group used to be so damn fun and exciting, but now they are so boring 😭 I just wish they would bring back the METAL! 😭
Thanks from Ireland just watched this on the blue ray the other one begins, arrived last week then 2 days later the other one returns arrived, havent watched it yet
Thank you for this. Babymetal is great as always, and I am curious to see what happens with the younger girls next month when they do their own show. Miko can sing, so it should be interesting.
Love this because is like watching an old video of BM mixed with a more recent one. We got the old "childish" voices mixed with a more modern BM music. Wish the best for METALVERSE because they have inherit the flame to became something big.
❤❤❤🧡🧡🧡Oh my goodness. This has got to be one of the best production/presentations....ever. I love Babymetal and Metalverse🔥🔥🔥! One love 💞 from Texas USA. Forgot to add thanks very very much for the share.
