I just attended to their last two shows in Barcelona and Madrid and I can only describe it as total madness. We went so hard that even the ladies reacted to us being wild with big surprise. I lost my voice for almost a week. 🤣 For what I've seen on video, Japanese crowds are equally wild, but I need to check this point personally in a couple of months, hehe... 🤘🦊
Great reaction. Now you see (and hear) why 'Megitsune' so often tops fan polls for favourite song - and why they play it at nearly every concert (more than any other song, it is over 300 times now). This was the second song of the night, but it was the first chance Su had to talk to the crowd - they started with 'The Legend'. The intro and the break down use the melody from a very well known traditional Japanese song called 'Sakura Sakura' (Cherry Blossoms) which would be why it sounded so familiar.
great reaction Xsezz-Metal, this is a classic, they have played it Live more than any other song, and during the beginning music after the Kitsune chant when the power is building there is a small group (in USA) of fans, who sit down in formation and row the queens'' boat or the BABYMETAL Ark, lol either one is a great idea considering that it is an action performed in traditional Japanese street festivals and bigger groups in Europe do it too, especially festivals, but in Japan, depending on the venue, huge groups of fans perform the rowing action.

It incorporates a lot of festival shouts, like "Sore, sore, sore, sore!" ("Go! Go! Go! Go!") It's no surprise that it often tops fan polls for favorite BABYMETAL song. They've performed this one more often than any other. It's one of Su's favorites, even if she considers it difficult to sing this one live. The lyrics are really interesting, and the music video for this song is a masterpiece. Still my favorite BABYMETAL song, video and choreography. Su-metal likes to think of this song as expressing the Japanese character of facing adversity with resilience. A person might feel sad or overwhelmed, but they put on a brave face and carry on.
Japanese shows always have crazy crowd partecipation! You should watch the Legend 1997 show in 2013, it has crazy amount of partecipation!! It's available for free in YT, probably separated in several videos
