This movie took me by surprise a few times, I could never tell what would happen next. Love the simple editing and that y'all always have good stuff to say, either thoughtful or funny. Real reactions! Keep killing it, SUBBED!
Fontaine didn't realize his "mama" never came out the room because he's 'the drug dealer' so that particular clone has probably been killed dozens of times. The message is that 'types' (you know, as in archetypes and/or prototypes) like Fontaine/Isaac die everyday because of the lifestyles they lead in the hood and then another rises right up behind them and takes their place, THAT'S why there has to be so many clones of him. In this particular narrative, they just replace them with a clone of the former. This parallels reality because the influence of the environment and media makes many of the people living in the hood simply adapt and become just like the examples/images they saw around them growing up....
