Singer's first reaction to Babymetal's song Mirror Mirror. Babymetal is a Japanese Kawaii metal band consisting of Suzuka Nakamoto as "Su-metal", Moa Kikuchi as "Moametal", and Momoko Okazaki as "Momometal". This is my reaction to their song "Mirror Mirror".

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。Regarding the contrast between English lyrics and Japanese lyrics, Su said "I understand that two languages express two-facedness of human being". [Source : magazine PMC vol.27 page 39] So the difference between almost natural voice and effected voice may be intended to emphasize the dichotomy. This is a compilation from the two-day shows on April 1/2. When you watch it carefully, you will notice the difference in symmetrical mirror image of Su, Moa and Momo in the beginning. The parallel two images in different outfit are from Day-1 and Day-2 respectively. (For Momo, with or without mic, too.) The fast passages quoted from "Macbeth" by Shakespeare : "Double, double, toil and trouble" and "Fire burn and cauldron bubble" were sung by Moametal on Day-1 and by Moa / Momometal together on Day-2. 😍 The sound is studio version in this MV, but West (American) Kami Band played live at the venue with their heavy, hefty and nasty undulation. 😄 They are great! I am honored to have been one of the audience at the both shows and saw the new BM begin. What an epic moment in my personal history !

I was at PIA Arena MM for this performance and it was even more spectacular in person, though the live audio was a little different from this studio recording because it was the Kami Band of the West playing live. During the verses with the red lights, it was actually quite dark and a little hard to see the stage well from where I was near the back, but when the white lights would come on during the chorus and it was a bit blinding. It was still an incredible show, and I knew watching it live that it would look fantastic on video.

Good reaction. This isn't their first time playing some Prog Metal, but it is the first time Su has channelled Snow White's step mother and the first time Moa has quoted Shakespeare's witches from MacBeth.🤘🦊🤘

Welcome back to BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐 I'm glad to see you're back with this BM single, you don't wanna miss one of SuMetal's favorite from this album. I like the progressive metal elements and that nasty heavy breakdown. There's also a reference to Macbeth in the lyrics besides the obvious lines famously known by Snow White tale. Here's some official info: Mirror Mirror (MIRROR) _Mirror, mirror on the wall...this song embodies a parallel world where the world inside the mirror and the world of reality go back and forth._ _Is what you see in the mirror your true self or the self you wish to be?_ Last month they started the Sabaton's Europe Tour, everyone is having a blast and they will come back to Europe at the end of the year, this World Tour is gonna be awesome, the US will get another live shows with the Babyklok Tour along with Dethklok and they will be part of more festivals shows. Fans at Hamburg were the only lucky one to enjoy this song, we'll see in future concerts. I hope you and everyone get the chance to see them live in one of their concerts around the world. This was at BabyMetal Begins - The Other One live at PIA Arena MM, Yokohama last April 2nd, this is the first concert with MomoMetal being the official member, she has been the third backup dancer since 2019 and now she finally become part of the trio officially, we all proud of her.🍑❤ The Western Kami Band is also playing there and this live tour, they're with the girls since 2019 and slay every live show too. Thanks for sharing, the rest of the album tracks are already available in their own channel, so get ready for more interesting tracks to dive in. "I love this song is in English"🤣🤣🤣 well, it's j-metal...not brit- or us-metal aus-metal...it's in japanese😜, english lyrics are a favor to the fans😍. lyrics that anyone can sing along to, without being able to speak japanese.😛 that's what some more japanese bands do by the way.🤔
