4:24 - 5:05 that whole section makes the live version so much better than the studio version imo. makes it longer too which I personally like. I swear I could listen to SU-Metal hum that part all day...Im not crying, your crying.
No matter how many times SU-METAL tells me to smile, I just can't... This song is too emotional for me 🥺, I always end up tearing or crying when listening to Monochrome
You and me both especially seeing them perform it live. It’s been a difficult 5 years. Especially this year has been the hardest. But music has been there for me.
I saw them live and lose it every time she talks to the crowd to turn on their phones, because that's the point I started tearing up :') Held it in all concert and Monochrome broke me, it's so beautiful live with all the lights.
Good to know I'm not the only one. Ever since they played Monochrome when I saw them in April this year I've just been attached to it emotionally. Always makes me tear up, such a beautiful song. Was always the "just smile" bit that really got me but the lights and crowd interaction part really gets me with this video
Same here. I saw them in Orlando a few months ago and during monochrome I got teary eyed whilst looking around at the lights. I love this band so much.
This is honestly the most beautiful, tear-jerking live performance I know of. The entire arena just using their flashlight, there's something visually amazing about it that I can't quite wrap my head around. The tagline of the song being "just smile" really hits home, too.
I’ve dozens of live performances of this song and this is, by far, the best. At the beginning, they struggled getting the double base correct and fluid and Su had a hard time keeping her volume and pitch consistent while humming the melody. Everything came together and hit their targets just right!
I had to grow into this song, but now that I have I think it's brilliant. The only thing I don't like about this recording is the autotune or falcoder on Moa's voice. When you listen to the "first take, piano version" of this song, you can hear that Moa's voice doesn't need to be destroyed by these awful technologies. Her voice is just great as it is. And when you listen to the 20th birthday version of Headbanger, where Moa takes over the leadvocals, it's obvious she can do it. Autotune is only used by artists who can't sing and/or think it's cool. But it's not. Kakkoii janai desu!
I wonder if they finally excepting the newer member. Was trying to figure if she was singer or just opening her mouth. They did give more camera shots but not sure if fully excepted yet.
The stage and production of BM concert are amazing in Japan because always enormous venue have been used there. BM concert at The Forum( LA, USA) in 2019 was great production though 🔥
To be more specific: This should be the Clear Night concert from PIA ARENA MM in Yokohama, April 2nd. The video is from the new blu-ray, they recorded the whole concert
The KAMI band used to be East and West, but around 2022 they made Western KAMI band the full-time band. The Eastern KAMI band is awesome and I love them, but they were all very busy and talented musicians even from the start. The Western KAMI band was very young musicians that were hungry for work (Galactic Empire), and they seemingly became the full-time KAMI band ever since then. Touring with Babymetal is a dream gig come true, and Amuse snatched them up and they've been the Fox Gods ever since. I don't hold anything against the original band at all, but IMHO the new Kami band being a bunch of younger musicians that were able to commit to Babymetal around the world without fail is kinda awesome. I know that Anthony Barone is the drummer, and that CJ on guitar has also been awesome. OG Kami Band was sort of a super group, and new Kami Band will be, but they're able to commit 100% to Babymetal and thus are perfect for being Fox Gods on stage.
I don't think that Pasing attention has anything to Do with her behaviour it was simply her first Day as a full fledged menber.A Day before she was simply an Avenger and she was pretty careful not to be between Su and Moa .
if you watched the fancams from the us tour you'd know that they do use their mics. not in the newer songs, but in megitsune, karate, distortion, headbanger etc
