First time seeing Babymetal live... And I was not let down. I could barely stand by the end of babymetal I was that dizzy from the headbanging but I toughed it out for the penultimate Sabaton and really felt the heat from the Pyrotechnics, 3rd or 4th row back for the most part of the entire show and right in the middle infront of the stage. Even got kicked in back of the head by a guy crowd surfing, accidentally ofcourse and it was only a minor bump, everyone was laughing and such and just having a good fuckin time. 🤘🤘🤘
3rd row too :D it was crazy. I was headbanging so much I started to get worried if my head will be ok lol. My husband has pushed me straight into a pogo whirlpool for fun so that how I was kicked out much closer :D absolutely worth some bumping on people I dare say, at least in my case
@@wloszczyznazkrakowa it was pure chaos those moments, really got headbanging with a guy in a blue beanie next to me during Babymetal, just some random dude, and I mean like so close you might have mistaken it for 2 folk headbutting one another hahaha
Legit never gonna forget this, gonna go to london in November to see them cause of this. there is something amazing about an entire venue of grown ass people singing about chocolate.
Hands down, the dumbest set design ever. Who puts obstructions in front of a stage to block views of the performance? Do better, Sabaton. If I paid for front row seats, I would have been very upset.
@@SuperScottieMac Front Row seats ?? naebody was sitting in that bit, seats were all away back by the doors, that bit was all standing mate, from where i was they were a bit of an obstruction at times but nothing for me to complain about personally, each to their own on that one though, but yeah main point is where the Video Uploader was, is all standing.
Plus those pillars were there for some of the pyrotechnics. For me from my position near the middle and only about 2 or 3 rows back from the barricades my view wasn't really obstructed too much, it kinda all depends on where you stood.
Agreed regarding the stage. They may have thought it was a good idea, but the view is obstructed by pillars for those who are on the floor near the stage.
So sick of it as well. 150% disrespectful for the support acts and their fans. My general indifference toward Sabaton has turned to a legit dislike of this band for doing this.
It says Baby Metal. With tattoos being taboo and the fact that they are idols, I seriously doubt it's a real tattoo. Probably just a temporary stick on
it's a small stage can't help it lol. But the barbed wire as I understand it, it's a reference to World War 1, which was referred to as The war to end all wars. And this tour is The tour to end all tours.
@@KiraVu6786 would have worked better putting those huge columns, wires, and sandbags at the back. Aesthetics would still be there, without obstructing the audience view.
@@bons244 I can tell you. I was in the crowd near the middle and right at the front and I saw plenty very few times was my view obstructed by a pillar! The pillars were there for the Pyrotechnics they had going on. Damn near lost my eyebrows just from the heat alone
Sabaton were headlining, so the crowd is mostly sabaton fans. I saw them at leeds last friday and it was the same vibe when babymetal were on. Their performance was great and won a lot of people over ( including myself, deffo now a fan! stage energy was insane and instrumentally they shread.) but it felt like there were a lot of metal elitists there, especially sat near me who refused to cheer or interact. pretty narrow minded for metalheads, but there you go. Ultimately I think metal and j pop combined was a shock for many in the audience 🤣
Oh there were a lot more than 10, I was in the mosh pit like 2 or 3 people back from the barricades and when they did the bit asking people to put on their phones torches and that, I turned around and there was just a big fuckin sea of phones, all the way back to the doors and away up into the seating areas. It was just amazing!! 🤘🤘🤘 Edit: I was near the middle at the front I should say, sure there were a few people who weren't interested in Babymetal but for the most part everyone I saw was loving every minute of it, I wasn't really bothered by Lordi initially when I first listened to them a few years back but damn their energy in stage quickly won me over and I've added them to my playlist.
@@Rybo-Senpai yeah there was a lot of lights at leeds also but it was nowhere near the amount as when sabaton played xmas truce at the end of their set. felt like flood lights had been turned on 😂 You could tell most were there for sabaton, at leeds at least.
@@oll-turny-llo8200 One would suppose that after you bought tickets for this lineup you would start checking out the bands/acts you don't know much about to get into the vibes for the evening.
@Ralf Klonowski I certainly agree, but metal elitist are too narrow minded to give other bands a chance i guess. That's my point. There were guys sat near me who were fine with lordi cheering clapping etc, and as soon as babymetal came on, they sat in silence. Never understood the attitude myself can't be a fun life restricting yourself to one type of music just for stubborn arrogance.
