It's just unbelievable how powerful this song hits. And they're performing it as a supporting number in a combined concert -- I never saw the show but it feels like this performance would upstage anything that came after it. WOW
Still gives me goosebumps. The last part of Su-metal zooming in is really beautiful! She is a goddess. She is our queen. So their setlists are different for each concert? Or is it that they will sing half of the songs from the new album in each concert when they are touring in Asia and the US? I am looking forward to it!
Yes the set was slightly different for each concert. I guess they are trying the new songs out. But what about the new costumes? With the back lighting they burst full of colours, especially live. Spectacular!!
@@syncoyava8950 Their new costumes paired with crystal crosses and crystal coffins really gave fans the feeling of a new era for BabyMetal. Their previous costumes were designed according to their age and concept of cuteness and metal. So the colorful and translucent design may be in line with their current age and the concept of the album. In "The First Take" we can see very beautiful costumes in normal lighting. But it does have a special effect under the backlight of the concert. It may not be BabyMetal's most beautiful costume (as many fans loved the early red tutu), but it's certainly a very special one.
The pattern for the European concerts so far (up til and including Glasgow) seemed to be 1 Death 2 Pa Pa Ya 3 One song from "The other one" except Monochrome 4 Monochrom 5 Gimme chocolate 6 Road to Resistance This may change/evolve as the tour progresses.
This concert was the live debut for this choreo. My fav song from the new album. We had METALIZM at the Leeds concert - the new songs were rotated between the gigs. Except Monochrome. ❤️🦊🦊🦊❤️
I love that the songs from the new album are on rotation for the concerts, blended with some of the older material. I wonder what I will get May 12th in Cologne.
Looks like just recently. Very grand dominated spectacular perfectly skillful performance skills! From the beautiful young attractive ladies of babymetal. Very impressive beautiful event!👏🇯🇵🤟🔥
METAL fucking KINGDOM!!! FINALLY!!! getting so excited to see them in Seattle in October. I am in Tokyo right now, arrived the week of their shows in Yokohama, but they were sold out months in advanceso I was bummed out. BUT then tickets went on sale for Seattle about a week later and I was ecstatic. It feels like if England didn’t know who BABYMETAL was before, they sure do now!
Anyone else notice the irony of Babymetal (reaching out to make contact with the audience) trapped behind the barbed wire and sandbags of Sabaton's stage set?
One possible way to see it. On the other hand, they've just got 40+ minutes. Judging by some of the YT comments, there are a lot of the more metal-leaning BM fans who prefer the older stuff, so they might want to make them happy also. Having said that, I could have done without "Death" and have one more new song or "O majinai" performed with Joakim instead, but that is just me.
@@ralfklonowski3740 O Majinai would be an obvious choice here. But yeah otherwise the supporting act character of this tour makes it so they are gonna stray more towards hits, rather than new stuff. Can't wait to see them in September though, the new outfits and choreographies are great!
