Nice reaction to an incredible performance. The aisles you see are for safety and emergencies. But I'm just guessing here however I'm assuming having the floor divided up that way also allows for ticket pricing. Better stage proximity and that sort of thing.

I was at the PIA Arena show and that round stage platform they were on was actually on hydraulics and moved up and down at different times during the performance. On a couple of occasions during the show, particularly during the performance of Karate, they used the side stage areas, but they spent most of the show on the central area. The crowd is broken up into sections like that at all the Japan shows. It's done for a number of reasons. First, because there are different ticket tiers, so some people have paid to be in areas closer to the stage, and this keeps people in the sections that they have paid for. Second, it allows them to organize the crowd into groups before they go into the arena and get them into their positions in an orderly manner. The big venues that Babymetal play in are often in locations where there is not a lot of open space around outside, so they have to stagger the entry of the audience so as not to cause disruption in the area. Third, it allows them to control how many people are in each section and ensure that crowd crushes don't occur. Fourth, they have film crews down in between the crowd blocks to capture the crowd view and reactions of the fans for the Blu-Ray release, and they need room to work in.

Welcome back to the Foxhole and now with the new metalverse era🦊🤘🌐 Monochrome is another beautiful track from latest album, it was the 2nd single released in November 2022 and there's an official lyrics video really cool if you wanna enjoy the studio album version, later in 2023 right before this concert you just saw they released the Piano Version at The First Take surprising everyone with another stunning and beautiful one off stripped down version you already saw.. The lyrics got some Norse mythology reference and when the lyrics vid came out there were many theories around, later they said they were surprised about it and saying they just wanna give a hopeful song. Here's some official info: _"One of the discovered 10 parallel worlds is MONOCHROME and this 2nd pre-release digital single “Monochrome” centers around this theme. From the eyes of the children, what color were the monochrome fireworks lighting up in the night sky? This song expresses the hopeful wish on Ragnarok, which signifies doomsday in Norse mythology, twinkling across the starry skies in rainbow colors."_ This was live at BabyMetal Begins - PIA Arena MM Clear Night, Yokohama on April 2, MomoMetal first concert as an official member (she's the new official member after YuiMetal left the group in 2018), you can notice SuMetal speaking to them in the middle section and giving that recognition. They got this magical moment when performing live in every setlist they did throughout the recent World Tour 2023, and we'll definitely gonna see more this year. The composer behind this song is the same one behind Karate, Rondo Of Nightmare, Kagerou, the arrangement of Megitsune and also behind Believing from this same latest album, you should really not miss those songs. Next suggestion: - MAYA live at PIA Arena MM 2023 official MV. - Divine Attack live at PIA Arena MM 2023 official MV. . Like SuMetal said at the end: "Just smile".🙂 Keep enjoying BM songs and see you next time 🦊🤘🌈

You absolutely have to check out Monochrome piano version on the First Take YT channel! It's just Su and Moa and a piano done in one take. It's beautiful and emotional as it references their Karate MV which reminds us of Yui-chan (the three hooded robed figures holding hands). I get choked up just thinking about it!😢

Great reaction, it is always a special moment when Su gets the audience to "light up this dark, dark world" with their phones during this song ... and she had every audience in nearly 100 concerts in 25 countries last year all do exactly that.🦊 @Dragonstar-Metal has explained below why the crowd was divided into so many sections at the PIA Arena ... they don't always do that in other arenas. The stage they had here was very elaborate too. It was divided into three round stages, the centre stage, which they were on for this song, would also rise up vertically or drop down lower.

Well it is a bit of an recreation of their arena shows, where they use their crawlers (moveable stage that can carry all three girls while they perform). In the US and EU their shows are much more streamlined. As an example their european tour contains 2 buses that carry small trailers for their necessary equipment. And with this small caravan they drive from location to location. But this song is always a problem on the one hand it sounds so hopefull, till you undetstand what the background of the song is. But at least we know that Su had the same problems.

This song live is just great experienced it 3 times now and it never gets old . Everyone of them fenced of areas ends up as a circle pit their known as moshing areas or something along those lines . At one show a journalist counted 21 circle pits without the fenced of areas 😮😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

i saw them last year in the u.s. (the you tube theater appropriately enough) and they were fantastic. they don't have the huge stage set up they do in japan, but the music is still awesome,as is the interaction with the crowd.

you should listen to the unfinished version and continue New official lyric video live version so you can understand the flow of this song. The fireworks here don't mean ordinary fireworks but the atomic bomb that landed in the city of the main vocalist (Su-Metal) Hiroshima.

One reason for the big walkways in Japan concerts is for safety. Less chance of being crushed from thousands rushing the barricade. Everyone has their own section. Some with moshing some no-moshing. Remember, BABYMETAL attracts the young (children) and old (elderly). Even me, being 56, would choose a no-mosh ticket. The Japanese are very organized, and it makes getting people to their area easier, and after the concert closes, getting them out quicker. I've been at concerts in North America where I had VIP tickets and had to contend with regular General Admission people trying to force themselves in front of me. Not fun.

That's why my respect is so high for foreign countries. They take safety so much more serious than the US. Here in the US they just throw everybody in the standing room and its a fend for yourself.

@@PeytonsReactions True, but it does make for some epic wall of death/pit moments haha. Check out Babymetal's MetRock 2015 videos, holy smokes! The ENTIRE festival venue was going hard with Babymetal. They had like 3 or 4 massive pits going, even one way in the back. How can three 17/15 year old girls at the time go so hard?! lol, no wonder Rob Zombie said these gals roll harder than 90% of the bands he toured with.
