Well, The One have made their decision. With such an overwhelming amount of requests for this song and video, especially live, I had to do it. You guys are such and amazing community of fans. Thank you for coming together and giving such great comments and suggestions and the best advice.

That's how it's supposed to be. The idiots trying to "win" in the pit are fucking assholes. Always mosh so you and others aren't hurt (never stick out your elbows, never kick, only really body check people who see you coming, things like that). Help people who fall or really get hit. If a wall of death is forming (or in a normal pit for that matter) and someone wants to get out, let him/her, no place for people who want to get out. Now, getting a bit scuffed is to be expected.

I'm a 52 year old metal head and I too have an eclectic sense of music. I'm all over the place really, but metal is my main thing. Babymetal was a band I had heard of years ago but ignored till one boring night I stumbled on to "Karate" and decided to give them a chance. Man was I shocked! I fell hard into the Foxhole, and the greatest thing is finding someone who is just discovering them and actually reliving the very same experience! It's kind of spooky when you think of it. But my tastes also run to the harder spectrum of music, and for Japanese bands, you can't go wrong with Maximum The Hormone and Ningen Isu. Actually, along with Babymetal, those are my top three favorite bands over all right now! Got yourself a subscriber! Keep up with the Babymetal!

Oh my...just seconds after seeing your "Karate" reaction video, I find this one! One of the things that many of we of THE ONE love is reliving our amazing journey in discovering BABYMETAL through awesome people like yourself. We all feel revitalized in that way, each and every time, and that is such a wonderful feeling you are able to give us. It is not that we only want you to enjoy the experiences we have, we want to bond with you in those same experiences. And the community of THE ONE is unlike any fanbase on the face of this planet. As I said in my last comment, all are so compassionately passionate about how dedicated they are to this amazing group. I have lived longer than metal music itself, and I have seen music of all genres evolve in so many ways, but what BABYMETAL has done and continues to do is unlike anything ever known before. Unification through kawaii metal!

Talking about the band members. First the obvious part: - Suzuka Nakamoto aka. SU-METAL (lead singer, born in 1997) - Yui Mizuno aka. YUIMETAL (backup vocals and dance, born in 1999) - Moa Kikuchi aka. MOAMETAL (backup vocals and dance, born in 1999) The musicians in BABYMETAL are: - Mikio Fujioka / Leda Cygnus (guitar) - Takayoshi Ohmura / Isao Fujita (guitar) - Daisuke Bohte aka. BOH (bass) - Hideki Aoyama (drums) The participation in gigs is made by availability since practically all of them play in more than one band. Sadly Mikio Fujioka passed away in January this year in result of an accident. The musicians are called Kami-Band (= Band of Gods). BABYMETAL started back in 2010. P.S.: I almost forgot: I don't hear much japanese music (at least not as much as european or american) but I can personally recommend Ningen Isu and Dir En Grey.

Excuse my english Yes, Babymetal concert in Japan are INSANE. Very big production. Light, Pyrotecnics, costumes, scenary... Babymetal "is not a band". Don´t kill me yet. They are a big production. Like an opera or a musical. This is "normal" in the idol scene. Even with groups of idol with fixed components. The producer takes the best musicians, best lyrics composers, best choreographer and so on. The live concert are really spectacular, a really huge production This concert is "small" by Babymetal standars. Try to find some songs from concerts like "Live in Tokyo Dome" o "Live in Budokan" or the last one "LEGEND S BAPTISM XX". The production is awesone. Of course they are talented, all of them. The "road of an idol" is very hard. Thousands of boys and girls try every year, only a few can become "an idol" and even less survive long on the stage

i know that feeling, i nearly missed the recent tour too, but with luck (and a hint from a good friend of mine) i bought tickets for the show in innsbruck in june! i discovered them pretty early with gimme chocolate, but maybe i was too young or simply too dumb i didn't gave them a chance and simply tossed them to the side. it wasn't until earlier this year where i discovered the official video of the one through my youtube recommendations when i said f*ck it, i'll give em another try. now i'm (as much as i hate this term) a fanboy. i can't get enough of their music, not a single day without their music!

Since I am staying in the Asian world for 2 years,my new bride and I are seeing the back to back shows in October or November, in the Super Arena (where the famous live Road of Reaction filmed) I'm just so so sad my favorite member is gone. Yui. Their new girl just doesn't bring the new vibe. And I've seen several 2019 concerts on here showing Su unable to hit her high notes now. Here are a few Japanese metal bands: -Maximum the Hormone, others have already pointed you to some great songs. -Crystal Lake. Metalcore band, very heavy. "Apollo", "Prometheus", "Omega" are great. Their new release just came out a couple weeks ago called "The Circle" and is awesome. It features the lead singer from Coldrain, another Japanese metalcore band. -Speaking of Coldrain, "Envy" and "Gone" are really good tracks. -A lot have already commented about Band Maid, more hard rock than metal but great band. -Bridear is a good all female metal band. "Pray", "Scream", and "Light in the Dark" are some good tracks. There are many many others. Japan has been putting out great music for years, glad it's starting to get more recognized in the west :)

(ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QdcvUZ4VtOQ.html) the opening song to a 2+ hour gig and for a MV maybe "Giant Killers" (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_v0wjd45DQI.html). Great reaction video! A buddy of mine sent me a link of a Baby Metal video back in 2016.(I think it was for Gimme Chocolate?) Didn't appreciate it, and respect it back then. My simple mortal brain was convinced it was just a "Japanese Thing". Yeah...messed up,huh? Then, at some point earlier This year, I actually watched a full live-performance of Catch Me if You Can. And I was like, "Alright. I see what you're doing here." Thinking this could work as like Anime Music, I watched another video. It was the live performance of HEADBANGEEEERRRR!!! at Makuhari Messe that gave me the kick-in-the-ass to actually appreciate & respect what Baby Metal accomplished & gone through within like the first 6yrs of their existence on this planet. Soon I discovered this video Road of Resistance. Dude...I haven't had my face melted off since the mid-90s when I finally got to see METALLICA perform back when I was senior in high school. Dammit the KAMI BAND is frickin' awesome! Su-Metal's vocals just works with this music. First thing I said at the end of this video for Road of Resistance was, "They did it. (nods head a couple times) The did it." Look: I'm 43yrs old, I'm Not a metal-music fan, I Don't own any form of Japanese music in my cd collection, and the only "metal" cds I own are early Metallica & Primus. But Baby Metal just has that..Power of Music, ya know? Like you said, it gets you pumped! I envy those who were fortunate enough to attend these epic live shows in Japan several years ago. They took part in what would be the global imprint left by the Mighty Fox God & it's narly Japanese band. Dude, sorry for this long azz story, but I had to let it out.

Far East Dizain is a band that one of the BabyMetal guitarists also plays in. The band is in a subgenres of rock/metal called Visual Kei. It's hard to explain but it's basically defined by how the band members dress up in very elaborate makeup, costumes, and hair that is very Japanese. It's kind of like hair metal from back in the 80's but crazier and modern. I'm not really a fan of the style that much but the talent level of the band is really high.

Babymetal is always very energetic, and the Kami Band is made up of some of the best musicians in the world. Currently, they rotate between three guitarists: Takayoshi Ohmura (has solo material, and played in numerous bands including Marty Friedman's band for several years); Leda Cygnus is very accomplished in his own right both as a guitarist and bass player, the newest guitarist is ISAO. The late Fujioka Mikio was an accomplished jazz guitarist, and some consider him to be the best of all of them; Boh is a force on bass; the band alternates between two extremely talented virtuoso drummers (Aoyama Hideki (this video) and Yuya Meeta). Band Maid also performs live at a very high level. Their recent album is incredible. Try their live version of Play, Moratorium, or Onset. Another great band is Maximum the Hormone. They are a completely different beast, metal, funk, punk, rap, growls - Try What's Up People - They also deliver crazy energetic live performances.

They aren't the best selling band in Japanese history for nothing. Stance Punks: I wanna be Scandal: "Shojo S" or "Doll" Yui: Again These are just a few of many. I use to think rock music was dead until about 10 years ago when i checked out the Japanese music scene. That's when I realized rock didn't die, it just packed up and moved to Japan.

Any of BM's Red night Black Night concert videos are INSANE ,especially Black Babymetal ' Sis Anger" and from what I can tell all their shows are consistently sold out.. and yes, they are all high energy , though they keep the biggests stages for Japan ( cause, logistics) www.dailymotion.com/video/x5nx7sk .. Their early early stuf is a ton of fun, too :) Like pre Road of Resistance :) when they were just trying to work the " young" idol metal market :) more poppy in the lyrics ..

Since it worked on another video, I'll just repeat what I said here again: They only have huge audiences like that in Japan. Outside Japan their venues are around the 2000-5000 people mark (with a few exceoptione like Wembley) and they don't carry the complete stage setup with them. In Japan they are more like 10000+, up to 55.000 in the case of Tokyo Dome (don't quote me on those numbers, apart from Tokyo Dome). But the audience is always incredible and full on, no matter the size. Having said that, many of us look up to the Japanese kitsunes, they are always exceptionally hyped. The girls have fixed choreographies for the songs, so they always go to their limits. If you want to see the epitome of a stage production, you should watch the intro to their Legend S show from last decembre. Unfortunately, all the good quality versions I knew of have been taken down. Here is a link to a very shaky fancam: www.dailymotion.com/video/x6b9wu1. It's probably not suited for a reaction video, but if you are interested in a real Metal stage setup, I recommend watching it. It doesn't get more Metal than that!. Other songs I'd recommend, depending on what you'd like to see: - Megitsune is a particularly Japanese song with a badass breakdown in the middle: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PUkzu1IJW4w.html. - YAVA! for an amazing good-mood song (featuring a kami band intro in this version): www.dailymotion.com/video/x6gpgga. - Catch Me If You Can for a particularly cute choreography and instrumental intro as well: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zpZHhKEKS4c.html. - BABYMETAL DEATH is (or has been) their intro song, but in this particular show they closed with it (you'll see why) and proved that 14 year old girls can be more Metal than you: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jRc9dbgiBPI.html. - Iine for the biggest WTF experience regarding mixing of genres: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qVdBBOpSoN4.html. - Tales Of The Destinies and The One at Tokyo Dome: Two songs originally meant as one. Their fan tribute song for a crowd of 55.000 people might make you cry: www.dailymotion.com/video/x5ggoil, and Tales Of The Destinies is Prog Metal awesomeness (very long, though). I'll leave it at that. I could actually name at least one particular feature of any song that makes it stand out and worth watching. They are all unique. But let's not overdo it. Be aware of copyright strikes, though, especially with newer shows like Tokyo Dome or Big Fox Festival. As others have said, your best bet would be to mute the audio and make the video transparent and give us a countdown to sync up.

Well, if you are looking for some J-metal, my first thought is Maximum the Hormone, 'What's Up People'. It was used as the entro music for season 2 of the very popular Anime 'Death Note'. Also, 'Yushu Fukushuu' and 'Alien'. As you noted, Band Maid are a strong entry in the heavy rock category. You might hear the name Ladybaby thrown about and their vid Nippon Manju is a definite WTF fun song...but personally, I like the reboot unit better with their song 'Starless Sky'. Just a few more to consider.
