@@rnegitsune7681 what will make it totally different if both su and Moa did the whole entire verse together split it line for line it would make it even amazing
@Panthera Metal well, considering they are a fabricated band I doubt as talented as the girls are, they are more "metal" I love BABYMETAL btw, seen them love a few times. Just correcting you is all 🤘😉
@user name Ah yes, because a band performing a fusion genre of metal and another genre is more metal than bands that play only metal. Will keep that in mind, thanks.
She already does, though. She's been a backup singer since at least Wembley in 2016, back when there were two backup voices. You can hear this pretty clearly in most videos taking place after Yui left, but especially in Legend S.
I agree. Also, they did. Problem is Yui always sang harmony and now she's gone. This is why the Avengers -- who we know are all good singers -- deserve microphones. Suzuka harmonizes to herself in the studio and they play it on a backtrack at live shows. No reason Moa and/or the Avengers couldn't do it live.
Moa's voice is beautiful and so pleasant to listen to. In comparison, this really brings to my attention how powerful Su's vocals sound. Su has an absolutely fantastic voice that really fits this genre well.
I love how Su goes into full backup mode when Moa has the mic. Su isn't trying to covertly hang on to the spotlight by doing extra stuff in the background, just doing what the side does in that spot. Good on her. Also, I love Moa. She's so pretty and has such a good voice. I don't think we've seen half of what she's capable of.
You can really see that Moa does not move so much while singing, and she sounded a lil tired just by her singing, compared to Su who holds the notes much longer since she's good at balancing her movement with her vocals. Moa's singing here made me remember Su's singing technique when she was still 15, I guess lol, when she performed the headbanger in Budokan. Moa's voice is so j-poppy, I can imagine her singing anime OPs and stuff. Moa is the kawaii of the band, while Su is the metal lol.
Yui was the best at doing the death metal scream though. She was actually able to do a guttural growl that was really awesome. Look at one of the videos where she is shown to sing Headbanger and look at her finish ;)
Babymetal was formed because of Su's voice. She has the perfect vocals to pierce through loud metal music, and the stage presence to back it up. Su brings the power and emotion. Moa brings the fun, energy and love.
Moa sounds REALLY cute! And with a side by side comparison, it once again showed just how powerful Su's voice is. Simply incredible. Su is the absolute best.
You can clearly hear how much more powerful Su's voice is for lead, but dang Moa aint bad at all. A little treat once in a while, but Su clearly is the stronger projecter. Hearing them side by side its so clear. Moas voice is gorgeous, but too light to front and she has to push hard, especially during the chorus. Still, i love Moabanger every time I hear it.
All lead singers that sing all night need a break , a chance to catch their breath.. But Su is the Queen, there's a perfect balance in Babymetal.. all 3 girls shine in their role and are equally loved by the fan's.. they have gotten this far with the perfect balance they have now.. I wouldn't change one single thing in Babymetal..
Moa's voice sounds more poppy and she was "lil bit out of breath when bouncing and singing, but she's still amazing! 💚 And Su.. don't need to say anything... fantastic! 👍💚
OMG!!! Pure metal fan here and I love these girls from the beginning! I really loved the original formation, but with Yui's departure they could reimagine the band and maybe make out a duo from Moa and Su and make more songs where they are equal singers. Write more songs with Moa solo and Su solo. Anyway i love you whatever you do!!!
Es increíble lo mucho que una persona puede cambiar en menos de tres años; Ahora pienso que Moa logra acaparar a Su por mucho. Jamás me lo hubiera imaginado
Its crazy how much moa have grown up .she used to be very smol and super cute but now she is so freaking beautiful .. That smile tho, I feel like a proud mom here 😌
She's got a voice pretty close to Su-Metal's, but there is one very basic issue I hear between the two on this specifically, by which I mean the issue is something all musicians learn very early in any genre, she's not holding out the note long enough, she's cutting it too short. It could just be she isn't holding it due to being off on her counting, very easy to do even for a master musician, I do this pretty often in rehearsals, or it could be not enough air support to carry the note through its full value. From what I can tell, the lyric where she ends it at "Koko kara" ends on a half note, for anyone who isn't a musician, count to two in your head, while she is holding it for about the value of a dotted quarter, which is one and a half beats long, so not quite counting to two for those that aren't musicians.
i love the effort that this guy is trying mash up both singer, even the song is kinda weird to me because the beat on each transition is not correct. however i would give him big thanks to the editor who tried their best. i really like babymetal and now you set what i would like to hear
legend M arises beyond the moon. :) check the babymetal reddit. scroll down and look on the right sidebar for "pro shot videos". a link to watch is on rows 139&140.
Like a lot comments in here saying, moa is so much more suited to idol stuff with those super clean vocals. Su just has so much more power in her voice than moa. There was a duet they did one time in place of yui. I think it was GJ not sure, but they mixed so poorly. Could just be head set vs mic, but Su just full blown overwhelmed her voice and it didn't sound great. When you just hear a Babymetal song it's hard to distinguish, but when you hear her against moa or yui, or anyone else really, it's really easy to see what koba saw early on about her voice and stage presence being wasted on pop and idol. She's louder, stronger, can sustain better and longer, hit more ranges, and arguably has better stage presence by far. I would LOVE to see a song made just for a harmony duet between them if they never decide to add a permanent third member. Then you could really see them shine side by side talent wise. You would have to make it a softer song though or weaken Su's mic though cuz yeah
Suzuka CAN hold back when/if she needs to, she just doesn't like to. Like you said, Koba saw immediately Su's talent was being wasted on Jpop and anime songs, and he set it up so she could use her voice to its full potential.
@@bitchboy839 shit i don't think it's even on RU-vid anymore. It wasn't even a video of the show. It was basically someone recording the audio at the show. They were duetting for some reason and Su was blatantly obviously more powerful in her voice to the point you'd have to really listen to hear moa underneath. It was a black Babymetal song i think
Moa has really come into her own as an entertainer. She's mastered the material so well that she can be playful and inventive with the audience and fellow performers without missing a beat. She's just a joy to watch on stage.
Where did you get the moa metal singing video? I'm trying to find a full live concert of "new" babymetal (without yui and mikio) just to compare to the old days. This looks extremely HD! I WANT IT
