Well they still sound like Blackpink doesn't matter if its because that are also under YG because if so that just means YG is doing a bad job of differentiating them and giving them a unique sound
@@Robin-bz3ki If you listen to "Like That" by Charlie Puth, you will notice it sounds totally American and not Kpop. BM has the YG kpop flavour arrangement in their songs which is similar to BP. It's YG's signature brand. So when you first listen to their music, you know that it's from YG.
@@Robin-bz3ki lol are you mistaking with hype gg who all the members sounds the same. Bm got raw vocals and can be differentiate who is singing the chorus 🥹😂
Yeah from the start they said this would be typical YG style, but with a new “darker” concept, so definitely has those BP elements (but you can also see hints of 2NE1 and some other iconic YG artists), but you should definitely check out the mini-album! Charlie Puth actually gave them a song after hearing Ahyeon’s cover of dangerously, and there are 7-member versions of Batter Up and Stuck in the Middle, plus a few other tracks!
I think what people are not taking into consideration is that Blackpink style is not really originally a Blackpink style, but actually THE YG STYLE, that was rooted from Bigbang and 2ne1. People of this generation got their first experience of YG through Blackpink, but in reality 2ne1 conceptualized and embodied the girl crush concept amidst the sea of cute and sexy K-pop girl groups in their time. The changes in genre of beat within one song was actually from Bigbang. So those that are saying that Babymonster is a Blackpink 2.0 I think you guys are undermining the fact that for both girl groups they are doing the YG style. That’s why when Koreans react they say “this is the YG style” because it’s always been that way since Bigbang and 2ne1 introduced that style. It’s what made YG different from the other agencies. So, the next girl group that comes after Babymonster will also have this concept because again yes Blackpink is a huge success, but they did not invent this concept. I’m not a Babymonster fan, but I do understand that there is a history behind the success of YG and it didn’t start from Blackpink, it started because their first generation artists came up with this style, stuck with it even when people at first were criticizing it until it became ingrained as THE YG STYLE.
I started in kpop stanning BB and 2ne1 and the YG style that I know is being hip-hop but regardless BB and 2ne1 never used the same genre nor did they recycled beats in their entire discography they had various sounds in their title track unlike BP and now BM is following BP's step-the D4 formula
It's a YG song.. can't say more just love it. In the age where HYBE is dominating industry with soft pop style and similar GG concept.. sooner or later they will appreciate YG sound again.
The soft songs are good for sorrow time plus their rookies got no signature vocals or raps if you look closer. Only tiktok song or childish. You can’t identify who is who ? For me my top in 5th generation are kiss of life, xg which are j pop but damn they are baddies and baby monsters only if this useless yg gives them good songs. They got what it takes to be on top of
HYBE is dominating because alot of people got tired over the same YG song structure and sound. YG can never bring something new to the table, thats the issue, and their for get compared to BP. They deserve better.
@@lvrvisuals7800 lol the same problem is happening to hype 🤣🤣😂 what is the difference between illct and nj songs 😂 yg had the throne once so is hype their downfall already started. None their singers can sing live. Their story already started
U Have To React To BABYMONSTER’S “LIKE THAT” Written By Charlie Puth and AHYEON SANG “DANGEROUSLY” Cover By Charlie Puth and The Song “Like That” Rap Verse Is Hot and Please Make Sure U React To The Album As Well Bro!!
Stop rewinding at the 1-2 punch man! Good reaction my guy! 😂 Yea man...react to their haunted house walk thru. 2 episodes ONLY. Also another song they came out with is call "Like That" helped produced by Charlie Puth. No MV but do check the lyric video. You "might" like it. Depends if you like Chuck 😂
How I see it is that the name YG is getting free publicity. YG is so smart, he didnt even have to work twice as hard as other companies to promote this new group.
Please don't forget to react new girlgroup VVUP, they also debuted today....wait for the video on the channel VVUP...i'm waiting you to react the MV today....
This that same STALE YG sound that the stans are tone deaf to at this point. YG stans have been listening to the same song over and over since 2016, just with different groups singing it. Almost every major YG hit of the last decade is a slightly different version of BangBangBang by BigBang....This shit is booooooooooring. Another thing, YG chorus' are always repetitive, meaningless and forgettable. "Bang bang bang" "Boombayah, yeah yeah yeah boom boom boom boombayah" "Hit you with that dduduudduddu, oh yeah oh yeah" "batter up, batter up batter up" "sheesh sheesh sheesh sheesh sheesh yeah sheesh sheesh sheesh sheesh sheesh got them all going" 🤡🤡🤡
If the formula works why fix it? It hasn’t have their groups be any less successful. Some artists in different artistic disciplines follow and keep their signature expressions and it’s okay.
