It's not good, but they should be grateful they got to debut with a company that will support them. Unlike JYP who just supports their newest groups and buries everyone else but Twice.
We both had the same reaction as you know, I think the only part of this song was RUKA's & ASA's rap but I think the only member I can really stan is RUKA all due to the fact how she is the only adult member of the group & she just caught my eye in general. I'm happy for BABYMONSTER but they didn't live up to my expecation either, it's nothing new that they gave us and it sounds like a scrapped demo song for BLACKPINK pretty much. If you just knew BLACKPINK also received criticism on their debut because apparently, BOOMBAYAH sounds like a 2NE1 song. You gotta also remember ITZY also received criticism when DALLA DALLA came out people found their lyrics very "cringy" talking about "I'm pretty but I'm different from others" and they didn't look like they're from JYP and they were labeled as JYP's first "flop" but despite of all the negative energy towards it DALLA DALLA still gained attraction and recognition and catapulted ITZY's popularity. People were so focused on negatively criticizing their sound and lyrics that they failed to realize the talent look at where ITZY is at right now, I'm sure you know this, they're already one of the top girl groups in the 4th Gen K-pop era. Do not make the same mistakes those people did on ITZY to BAEMON.
Unfortunate to inform you BATTER UP has already broken the RU-vid all time record for most views in 24 hrs. for a K Pop debut. Such a big achievement for a BORING song.🤔

This video was a reaction video and music is subjective, you can't go to the comment section and start pointless arguments for no reason. She didn't say that they would be unsuccessful nor did she make any hate comment about them, BATTER UP isn't most people's cup of tea, including mine, and that's fine. You can't get mad when someone doesn't like something YOU happen to like, unfortunate to inform YOU, but your whole point is completely invalid. Bye bye! o/

What i just did is state some info regarding the achievement of the group. It's not mainly an Itzy channel? Plus music is subjective. As a huge K-pop multistan myself (I stan over 11 groups) not even I was a huge fan of this song, but they can always improve. So, put away the attitude and be nice.
