Other labels charge trainees a fee for dorms and training.. thats why some idols don't get of debt from their labels. YG from what I heard, there is no fees, you get daily meals from the super cafeteria. Big Bang and Blackpink paved the foundation for the trainees today.

Actually YG provided the best dorm for their trainees now unlike before, they have facilities about that. Same as their boygroups.

Blackpink talks about living in some dorms with cockroaches and it was haunted. Then moved into new dorms and that’s what you see in Blackpink house and their documentary. I saw a video where I believe the groups live in the same community of apartments, but at different buildings, like the boys live in one complex the girls in another one. But I’m not sure if that’s all the way factual.
