BABYMONSTER - 'Last Evaluation' EP.1 | REACTION!!! 

The very first time I heard Pharita in her Live Performance, I was impressed by her diction and enunciation. Ahyeon and Pharita are definitely the strong language members, Ahyeon already has a strong Chinese following with her excellent Chinese conversation skills, she is actually fairly fluent and not just memorizing words. Chiquita has a fine tuned ear as well and picked up Korean super fast, and her English is also spot on. Pharita also picked up Korean very quickly and has caught up to Ruka in vocabulary and speaking in Korean in such a short time. Ruka is a great senior to the younger members here, she is not afraid to ask for help when she needs it, but also tries to calm and encourage the others when things seem to be getting rough.

When Jennie said how she wish someone told them.those stuff when they were trainees is so honest. Am a huge 2ne1 fan and I only follow Blackpink today since their debut. How I wish there were 2ne1 and Blackpink trainees interaction in those years.

YG will debut all 7. No one shouldn't panic because YG loves to use their marketing structures like this evaluation and saying less than or more members will be in the group. This was filmed last year so it's true all 7 will debut. YG loves to make us panic. I'm glad all YG artists were involved in the evaluation. Each YG groups have their concepts and path. Blackpink is YG's current girlgroup as well and went through the training process years ago. Blackpink guiding them is a must. Also,the fact that each member of BABYMONSTER helps one another shows their willingness,group work and sisterhood there.

They will eventually be their own individual artists obviously. If you were there during the pre debut of blackpink, Yg also tried to make them to be the “future 2ne1” but now blackpink has made their own name in the industry, without the references to 2ne1. It will eventually fade away, it’s just needs some time and we will see after their debut.

I think they did an evaluation among the 7, but at the end, YG saw that they all got the potential, and will debut all of them

To be honest YG has done this throughout when Bigbang was the "it" group they did a lot of shows like WIN, and Mix & Match....and Bigbang was brought up a lot in those show I guess its just a marker for them...like here is the standard and here is the highest you could go, or to give viewers an idea of what YG is looking for in a group...eventually years went on and WINNER have their own style or sound as a group. iKON as well had their own sound and style, its unfortunate what had happened with B.I. especially it was around the time when they were at their peak with "Love Scenario"...but eventually those comparisons with BIGBANG disappeared the moment they debut. Blackpink was originally more than 4..but YG felt the 4 girls combination voice/choreo Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Chaeyoung they work well together..i think thats what they mean here when they said they are looking for that perfect team.

Yg knows what he is doing.. His way of making every idol is proof why they are yg artists like blackpink bigbang 2ne1 ..

In my opinion, it is not actually using Blackpink, it's more acknowledging the sunbaes that came before them. Who else would be the best example of a girlgroup (for them) to aspire to be but a YG girlgroup. The same thing happen when Blackpink were rookies, their benchmark was 2NE1. As they grow, they will find their own color and space in the industry much like Blackpink has done for themselves. It was also the same thing with the boygroups, WINNER/iKON to BIGBANG and now TREASURE to BIGBANG/WINNER/iKON. The nature of the KPop industry mirrors the nature of the Korean society. The juniors look up to the seniors while the seniors look after the juniors.

Thing with YGE is, as a dongsaeng... You will be indoctrinated with your senior's songs. If you get a nod from them, that's positive. Boy, these people have the highest standard and discipline when it comes to training. From BigBang, Winner, AKMU to BLACKPINK

I think this last evaluation was recored before introduction/character playlist video was made. Because in the Ahyeon character playlist video, there is a clip that show these 3 girls doing Ru-Pha-Jung shouts (Ruka-Pharita-Jung Ahyeon). I don't know if this is a coincidence, because they are really close everyday. Or is it like my theory above.

Come on let's not judge just yet , there is more coming , them mentioning alot of Blackpink is because, that is the only girlgroup senior they have , and the girls loves Blackpink , we could clearly see how they look upto them so that's why BP was shown more. The most frustrating thing with RU-vid's eho react but have ZERO interest in more depth to the subject. Like right here.. reacting to BABYMONSTER... thinking YG is making them into blackpink. 1. In your video the only one keep saying them keep comparing with blackpink , i think no one think like you in negetive, because this is mission all company do the same thing, and at yg blackpink is the only girl group and sister them have to make as a inspiration for them. And at yg them looking for unique style and voice ofcourse some of them will sound like rosè kind singing voice.

Why would they want to be like Blackpink? They should strive to be better, and go beyond them. I believe they will knock BP out of the water. The talent of this group is extraordinary. Give them a year, and we are going to see a mega group. I don’t even like most of the girl groups especially when they sing that bubble gum music.

Ahyeon's frustration to getting Pharita's part seems inconsiderate. Pharita already felt embarassed about losing her part due to her throat condition. Hopefully someone with a personality like Pharita who is empathetic and tactful would be the leader.
