Thank you for the video. I have a few of these and I agree that they work very nicely. I haven't tried the phone app yet. I love that the camera swivels around almost completely like an owl when you look left or right. It has great night vision. In certain situations you can even see through a window into the yard at night. You have to angle it, as even with the indicator light off, there's a ring of light on that you don't see with the naked eye but the monitor catches it. It doesn't see well through UV tinted window film but during the day it's functional. So if anyone's looking for a security camera in addition to a baby monitor I would say this is pretty decent. I've tried multiple types. I have a question though. The micro SD cards should be put into the monitor port (not cat figure/camera port) and then you can go into settings on the monitor it will automatically give you the option to format to FAT 32. However, I don't see the option to set up auto record video on motion, and that's what I'm looking for. They claim you can in settings but I'm not seeing it. Is it on the phone app? Have you seen it in settings? Also, I'm not sure why it has a micro SD slot on the camera itself when it has one in the monitor. I've tried one in each spot and even after proper formatting it doesn't recognize the one in the cat camera. Please someone tell me you've figured out motion-activated record set up. If so, please share.

Bought a camera of the same brand and I had no idea this does not seem to work once you leave your home. Might have to refund. I think it only works if you are in the home.

Been at this for hours. Way too hard. Where is the giid old plug and play… gonna try 1 more hour, then in returning the product and getting a better one. For now i give it a score of 1/10

Clearly, you were sent one that was tested and already synced. Mine does not sync, and there are no videos of how to address this malfunction, not even the manual is helpful. There are more posts of people having identical issues than positive reviews of this crap monitor. People, get yourselves either an indoor Ring or Google Nest camera. They work just as well. You can do the two-way talk feature, and they both alert you to motion and sound.

Its a piece of shit. Loses connection and wont reconnect. Closing a door causes loss of connection not even 20ft away. Dont buy.
