I think this a fine, innovative approach. Miniatures are almost never to scale with the real world. For example, bases in ancients are almost always deeper than they were historically. What matters is a visual appeal staying somewhat in bounds with real world dimensions. Needless to say, they are beautifully sculpted and detailed. I would love to see some East Front villages and cities for WWI and WWII. Excellent work!

Cunning, smart and well produced. You may well drag a stubborn scratchbuilder of all things terrainy away from his Stanley knife and XPS... (there's really no way I can see to scratchbuild consistently at that size!) Given the strategic importance of built up areas in many eras I can see this adding to the both visual and grand tactical aspects of a battle. You showed Gettysburg, but the one that sprang to my mind was Fredericksburg. Indeed I can see this approach changing, (over time), the look of my battlefields. I look forward to the expansion of the TTT range especially into C19 American and European villages, towns and even cities.... Great Work! Enjoy your holiday.

Very impressive. I play 15mm but have always loved the look of 6mm armies. I am half tempted to paint one and if I was starting out again I might consider this scale.

Bought a fair few terrain pieces in the past from Baccus and it’s always been quality. Maybe with my next order as nearly at my 1 v 1 sized Roman legion

That's so effective on the table I really hop these take off. I'll dive in if there is terrain I can use for the the Franco Prussian war already eyeing the Vauban fort and the villages.

I love this idea - I've thought, for a number of years, about the problems due to the difference (in most periods / rule sets) between figure scale and ground scale. With my main (only) period being WWII the difference between the figure scale (circa 1/285th) and the ground scale (1/2000th - old UK rules such as Firefly, Combined Arms WRG etc.) is rather noticeable and having a built up area look right without taking up most of the table can be a stuggle. This concept looks like it will go a good way to solving some of this disparity. Of course, I'll have to wait until the range grows enough to also include more modern urban centres. Hopefully the range will prove popular enough that will eventually happen.

Very interesting ! One idea comes to mind .. That is having town walls etc that come in two halves to accommodate larger bases ?

Brilliant stuff. You solve the problem of buindings on the tabletop. The Vauban fort reminds me of a wonderful visit to the Dutch city of Naarden a few years back. I'd heartily recommend it to anybody in the area.

Brilliant. I really like the proxy option instead of individual 6mm buildings.

Bloody great work! I've used 3mm buildings with my 6mm moderns before to get this effect but would gladly pick up some ready-made settlements like these

As someone who has had a lot of trouble trying to figure out how I can wargame in an area that is very small indeed, I have tried 28mm when I first got into miniatures but found them useless for my needs so I'm now turning to 6mm and seeing this concept really solves my issue , thank you for your channel

I understand the concept, but visually it dose not appeal to me, with 2mm perhaps, but each to their own.

I completely understand that TTT models won't appeal to everyone. Wargamers are a fiercely independent minded bunch and we all have our viees on the best way of depicting armies, playing games etc.

Well done and nice models. This is an idea we had already adopted in our home-built terrain and utilising some of Brigade Models' range of "Small Scale Scenery". We also base all our 6mm figures (Ancients and Napoleonic) on 60x60mm bases, rather than 60x30mm. Feel that it gives us more modelling scope. So now all I need is a Celtic hillfort to hold a 60x60mm figure base! And a Near East village as well.....

We will be adding extra 'frames' for larger areas, but no plans yet for an enlarged hill fort.

Absolutely spectacular. I was recently trying to figure out how to handle 6mm grand battles with smaller terrain. I live close to Maiden Castle so this new release of yours has come along at an excellent time. Thanks for continuing to do stuff!

Great concept and designs, but wouldn't they be better with 2mm figures, so that the troops don't look like giants when placed near the buildings?

The first thing that struck me was hooray, buildings that are perfect for Strength and Honour 2mm games. I know that isn't what they are intended for, but very welcome nonetheless. I can't find them on your website except for the Middle Eastern Village. Is that a mistake on my part or will they become available soon?

I was called away from the office just as I was adding the range to the site. The rest of the first batch will be available shortly.

Brilliant idea... A couple of ideas/suggestions Any chance of NW Europe WW2? Also, could you make them at 30mm x 60mm, to enable more variety to outline of villages? Cheers Ian

I've been wanting something like this forever! I will most likely be buying some soon, my only question being, are they pre-painted?
@baccus6mm100

They all come unpainted. No need to worry, as they are really easy to paint and finish. I may do a video on this if there is a demand.

Sadly, no. They are the work of the Devil inflicted on the 6mm world by the Dark Lords. All that is True and Virtuous is represented by the 60m x 30m base....
