Gavotte is actually menuet trio. But it is 814 not 814b

I would like someone to explain to me why Nikolaeva is a great pianist or musician. I find her playing historically incorrect - but that wouldn't matter if it enhanced the music which it doesn't. She seems to play everything somewhere between double f and double 50! And it's rhythmically lumpy. Obviously I'm missing something!

She doesn't adorn Bach. She just plays the notes so you can see the structure. And Bach's genius shines through.

I am sorry but this is one of most out of touch comment ever! Her playing is simply superb in all respects! And she shines in Bach in particular. This French Suite N.3 is one of the best rendition ever. I do not where people develop their musical knowledge and skills...Unbelievable!!
