I was a child back then and I never really understood this song, I liked how it sounded, and its cool because I grew up watching MTV... But now I am turning 37 and just stumbled upon this by RU-vid's algorithm... Wow, it hits me, after all these years of living the adult life... Oh my goodness, understanding fully the meaning of it all as an adult hits hard but the melody and the music gives me some comfort though, of nostalgia and childhood memories. Wow.
