Just how versatile is Randy Bachman,so jazzy. People he needs to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for both BTO and the Guess Who,such an injustice!
Fantastic! I was one of those who requested this song in the comments, many times in fact. Their masterpiece, imo, but definitely not their most well known song. As a teen in Winnipeg, Randy Bachman studied with eventual guitar legend Lenny Breau, also a teen himself, and learned a lot of jazz from him. I'll admit, I love the jazzy sounds he produces the best - Undun with the Guess Who, this song and Lookin Out for #1, also with BTO. Please do check out Lookin Out for #1 next from them!
Very Jazzy sides Of BTO which shows off their talent and versatility!!! Message wise: as a Lab Technician in VSP I worked 10 hours a day ....54 to 60 hours a week. and at Amazon Warehouse I worked 10 to 11 hours a night 48 hours a week.....very hard ass work while people are sleep!!! Love this song!!!!
I love all their music, but this is probably my favorite. I think it is a special song so different than all the rest of their stuff. I also worked 38 years at the auto factory most of the time on midnights. Just reminds me of that.
Love the Rush tee shirt while you are listening to my Winnipeg, Canada hometown boys. ❤ Blue Collar is one of my fave BTO songs. Looking out for number one also has a jazzy feel and Not Fragile is a down and dirty heavy rock! I recommend both songs. Cheers 🇨🇦
Shawn, cool reaction. Suggest: ..."Looking out or # 1" "Can we all come together" by BTO....."You won't dance with me" " Tonight is a wonderful night" by April Wine
