Check out Bachmann's New On30 Trench Steam Engine and Rolling Stock. • The 2-6-2T Baldwin Class 10 Steam Engine (Item Nos. 29501-29505) • 18' Rolling Stock (Item Nos. 26554-26556 and 26532-26534)
the new editing style is very elegant and refreshing. Love the engine as well. I'm sure someone will use one to make "Stanley" from the railway series.
hi sir, i wish bachmann can make a g scale henrietta for the g scale toby. g scale sodor mail cars for g scale percy. remember the mail car says sodor" and mail" on those mail cars. and branch line coaches that are red for g scale James, Thomas and percy. oh by the way. i heard that bachmann daisy and peter sam is finaly coming in 2021.
Bachmanntrains I’m just wondering about the troublesome tanker, is the face of the tanker from BWBA in Kenya or the oil tanker that Thomas takes to the mainland in JBS?
I love this model I would only change the valve linkage. If you want an accurate model model the walschaerts valve gear instead of the stephenson valse gear
I would much rather see Bachmann produce Reo Grande Southern #20. A K27 would be great in On30 also. And why not make ON 3 wheel sets available for the engines. These would be huge sellers. I don't model France in 1918. I model American narrow gauge.
Great models, but WRONG GAUGE!!! TRENCH locosbuilt in UK, France and USA were all 600mm gauge ( 1ft.11-5/8"). Some were Regauged post WWI to 2ft (610mm) for Colonial and,USA NGuse. None were in2'6"" ( 30 inch) as new, and rarelyif at all widened.. Depending on chassis build, I intend to regauge a Bachmann to correct (post war colonial) 2 ft gauge 0n24---12.7mm/ 0.500 inch Gauge.
@@HalbeargameZ As such freelance modelers can do the alternate history thing and say that in the world of their model the US Army built the railroads in 2 ft. 6 in. gauge instead of that much narrower gauge actually used. If one wants to model trench railroads closer to actual gauge the 9mm/ N gauge/ HOn30 track works out to be O scale 18 inch or 1 ft. 6 in. gauge. As for the details on the engine there are lots of On30 detail parts suppliers these days so get a locomotive and detail to your heart's content.
