As I said in the video, here's the link to my Shapeways!: www.shapeways....
For Christmas I ordered Bachmann Rheneas, so here's a review for you lovely people! I'm sorry about the poor focusing and long-winded review but I'm honestly tired of making videos for a little while. That Christmas special really took it out of me. I suppose I'll be focusing on making more 3D models for a little bit, but you can still expect some videos from me soonish hopefully!
I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it.

Other than the thin funnel and some of the scratches, I think Rheneas is great

Great review! My only disappointment is with Bachmann's rather lackluster narrow gauge rolling stock. If only there was a site online that carried specially-designed, 3D-printed rolling stock sold specifically by a RU-vid content creator. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like that exists... Bummer.

The layout looks the part, and Rheneas looks splendid running on it! The funnel may be thin but otherwise the model does look pretty spiffy when coupled to a consist, and really that's all that matters. And like pulling power but you get it :p

Really Stunning The Bachmann Rheneas looks even Skarloey, I should think about starting 009 modelling so I can get those 2 engines and the rolling stock and Rusty, (that is when he’s released)

Cool! Also, ya know what's really annoying? I'm pretty sure bachmann Rusty was supposed to be for a late May release, but now it is early August, and Bachmann haven't even released pictures yet!

I don't think anyone expected it to be out in May, i'll be really surprised if its out by christmas because the trend seems to be 2 years between each model, meaning christmas 2019 would be a safe bet.

You should be able to push the lifted bit of the cab gently back into the chassis. Mine had the same problem, but it was a quick fix.

On your shapeways store, I noticed three different options for ordering. There were different types of fills. One was a white strong and flexible, one was ultra detail, and the other was an option for extreme detail. What were your options for printing? I don't know the difference lol.

I always just go with White, Strong and Flexible. It is the cheapest and will do the job nicely, however if you want more crisp detail then I'd go with either of the other two. Its really up to how much you're willing to spend

So are the buildings you use N scale or HO/OO scale and what brand (if you remember) are they from? I’ve been trying to figure out what scale buildings best fit these models.

The buildings are OO scale. And as for brands, the sheds are custom built, and the track side station is from bachmann

What was the radius of the curves on your layout? I ask this because I have a n scale layout with 9 3/4 inch curves and Bachmann says that these models work well on 11 1/4 curves.

I can't say for sure, but I can tell you that they are the curves that come with the Peco N Scale starter set, so that might set you on the right path to finding the radius

My track was just any N scale track I could get, like Peco. I used a normal Hornby controller to power it

Its N Scale track, but its called OO9 because its being used as Narrow Gauge for OO / HO scale track

Technically its still HO because its narrow gauge so its the same scale, but runs on N scale track.

Each engine needs a different sized snowplough, so if you click on one of them will tell you which engine it is good for in the description.

That's a nice arrangement of stuff you have on that Shapeways site. If I may suggest an addition, why not do a conversion kit for Bachmann's Clarabel, to give her her brake end from the TV series?

Unfortunately no, simply because there's no way to manufacture them that way. But I must say, it's really easy to paint and get some wheels yourself!

I'd just watch some OO9 Scale railway videos and such. If you know how to build any scale of railway, you can pretty quickly adapt to OO9 I reckon.

Well on my Shapeways store called 'Elsbridge Model Shop' you can buy all sorts of trucks and coaches from the show which were 3D printed. I would suggest a few trucks and a brake van for rusty

The ERTL one is quite badly proportioned I haver to admit, and its a little bit bigger overall, although the smokebox is smaller

Alright, so, unless by some freak twist the Ertl toy's body is a better match for Dolgoch's proportions I think that's the end for my idea of adapting the Ertl one to 009. Had the idea to adapt the ERTL models after seeing someone use their faces on GEM kits of the Talyllyn engines, but I guess it's a bust (at least with Rheneas)

Yeah that wouldn't be a great idea, especially since the body is made of metal and has no space inside.

Well, it'd work if you used an N-scale mechanism and maybe opened up the inside wall of the cab. But if the proportions are off it's not worth it. Maybe Duke, Sir Handel, etc. will be closer matches

Unfortunately they are not designed to fit Wooden Railway engines because those engines have their running boards sitting really high up meaning its very hard to make a snowplough for them that actually looks accurate. Also their small size makes it harder too. Thanks for your comment!
