Bachmann Oliver Unboxing, Review & Run 

I love how the narrow gauge and the standard gauge look together. This looks really cool! Awesome job!!

Amazing Layout! I had no idea this model was such a great representation. Hopefully you can get Bachmann Rosie and Rheanes because they should be released next month!

I don't know about anyone else but the way Oliver's boiler is positioned, he looks a bit more slouchy than his cgi model. Besides that the model does indeed look really amazingly detailed, even on the lamps. It makes me wish Bachman could give older models with lamps the same sort of headlamp Oliver has. On a side note, your layout looks brilliant.

I would have much preferred a classic series model, but for what it is Bachmann Oliver is very nice. The only problems I really have with it are with the CG render itself.

Personally I loved the model series the best, and I grew up with the model series. Also can you test Oliver with S.C. Ruffey, and Toad?

Two things Bachman could’ve sone to fix the model up: 1. Make him bigger 2. Have him a bit shorter so his driving wheels are closer to each other

That looks amazing. It may be based on the cgi series, but it's just a little niggle that most people don't notice. Either way, it looks phenomenal. Great review

I liked the layout, and the diversity it has to offer, and you did make a few valid points throughout the review. However, I feel as if it dragged on a little too long, and certain points, like for the buffers, could have been elaborated upon. Why weren't the other's buffers good? Were they not the right variety? Things like that. I do wonder if you follow a script, or if it's a make-it-up-as-you-go kind of thing. I think a general script to work off of would do wonders, or at least something with minor notes here and there to talk about. It is only my personal opinion, though, and I don't mean anything negatively by it. I did really enjoy watching the engines run about towards the end, that's always a treat. If anything, seeing Ollie in action makes me want to get it just a bit more :)

I really like your review on the Bachmann Oliver model (I've kept saying this I'm not exactly into the show anymore since I'm more into the real stuff but I really like this model) i have plans to head to my hobby store to ask them to order it the same with Toad (they're the models i would really like to have) i bought the models of Donald and Douglas and i think they're really good and the model i originally wanted was Salty (but now he's discounted and i know he's still available in that set but it's way over priced) and i emailed Bachmann for suggestions of models (one i thought of was Isabel from the railway series though i think they only make characters from the show i just thought a model of Isabel would go great with Oliver and Toad)

Step away from the cgi faces and stuff. It looks awful. The original/classic series ones look far better
