Loved the Islander so much i purchased this without testing it when it came out and have not had the chance to try it out yet since then but i have enough minutes to hear what you have to say :-) lmao how life brings it sometimes

eh. Here's one that's under the radar. Trident (the OG) LTS Tiltration. Sick saturator! On sale now for £25! And the CB9066 EQ is good too! (pro tip: The "Loud" knob on Tiltration is effectively a smiley curve up/down control - the manual says it's gain compensation, but it sure is not). IMO the trident overdriven sound is one of the nicest for mixing.

The Islander sounds better, more open, this could be good for guitars, I just shot out the trial against the Isanlder I already have, the Isander is more Open, Punchy and better on Transient Detail, matter of fact the Islander sounds as good as an Acustica Audio Compressor to my ears

They are silencing it every 10 minutes on trial, Im an Acustica Audio user, so this sounding analog is no big deal to me, it wont be Magenta

No messin about plug-in reviews? This one had a whole minute of messing about before the review actually started! I'm not complaining I just think you should potentially change it to "some messin about plug-in reviews" for the sake of accuracy

Can you guys please take off or dramatically lower the sound of the marker/chalk writing noise? Hearing it makes my blood curdle. It’s like listening to someone grab styrofoam with their fingers. I love your videos and this would be such a relief. I watch you guys on repeat every day.
