You gotta take a note from monster jam, most of the backflip ramps are built against a big steel freight container, which gives a solid verticle lip

It needs a few more vertical feet for the rear tire to climb and rotate you. Leo even said it needs to be 8 feet high, but it was about five feet on the left side and less than four feet on the right side. Good attempt though Doug!

you had some good height there, and the sxs was defo spinning backwards so you had good rotation off the face of the jump. Looks like it will work great with a bit more speed you did seem to creep into it a but sluggish. Full respect for the send though you are all legends!!!

Traction was the key here ! The rear tires spun on the loose dirt ! With a high-traction surface it might have worked fine… Also, a slight negative angle at the top of the ramp would have helped a lot !

i think the top of the junp needs to be cut evenly across. it might help to keep it from rotating or twisting in the air! Thanks Doug for sacraficing your knee! i cant wait to see you complete this back flip!

You need the front springs to be soft to rebound the front out and away. The rear springs need to be stiff to create essentially a “solid enough” pivot point.

FRICK YES!! A bit more hieght on the ramp possibly? Just a touch more time for it to come around. Awesome hit though!!!

If you build a platform out of plywood with a curve to it and build a backwards lip at the top to help kick the razor backwards in the air to assist in rotating it backwards also cover the ramp in dirt you should be able to accomplish the back flip, also maybe change the tires to big balloon tires to aid in the flipping and absorb some of the landing as well.

I think you guys should try a more permanently solid structure for the jump. Using monster jam for an example (as Doug always does lol) they use metal containers. I’ll bet that’s the secret. Without it, the perfect rotation/ flight probably is a no go.
