Back from an Icy Grave - ESO Frost Magden Solo PvP Build 

You can still proc chill from the frost glyph while artic blast is proccing chill. Multiple sources can proc it at the same time. I have my warden setup so that I proc chill twice on every cast while also proccing it from arctic.

@@SinnfullDuck sure! But that is not more damage than a wep/spell dmg glyph as this buff boosts all your AoE damage while a frost glyph just does low single target dmg + you also boost healing. This is no discussion :)

@@Hexys I disagree. The weapon and spell damage glyph hardly changes the damage done to another player when you could be doubling the chilled proc which is like 1k extra damage done per second, based on the previous response.

Interesting, zaudrus is a good idea, I'd like to try that out with the major heroism shield actually! Edit: I did mention frostbite as an alternative to the double barred 5pc set, it should definitely work.

@@MalcolM. sorry, couldn't watch the whole video before commenting. I'm wearing Master Frost Staff with Zaudrus, Frostbite and Gryphon BB and I'm kind a satisfied so far. But I don't have much time for intensive testing right now...

Well breton does give you some sustain, but that's indeed not the whole reason for the big difference you're having in sustain. Do you have orzorga's smoked bear haunch? Do you have the 1pc magma and 1pc baron thirsk?

Did you forget to put points into your passives

i had every passive unlocked and monster sets were on point, everything was correct. i couldn’t understand so i changed my mundus to atronach and played around with glyphs to balance my spell dmg loss. 1250~ mag and 3920~ spell dmg unbuffed. Ty to both of you :)

well I have 1pc magma 1pc thirsk. I do like that more than engine cause it's super reliable and engine is more rng and unreliable if you really need a sustain boost

I don't duel much but I imagine this will work all right there too. You should build more DMG and less survivability for duels though, so you could try swapping out your monster set to balorgh/Zaan/kjalnar and the 5pc set to icy conjuror or any other cheesy dueling set people run nowadays.

Don't forget about major + minor resolve buffs and breton passive, it gets over 30k like that. Besides the build can be adapted to your liking, for example by using fortified cp.

@@MalcolM. I've invented new OP cyberathletic highly competitive build: Way of fire, wretched vitality, sea serpent coil, black rose duals+poison backbar, 1 trainee. Orc, undeath. 3 heavy, 4 medium. Haven't tested yet, but this will work. :D

I doubt it. Dot builds are cheeks. Only reason the frost warden can kinda get away with it is bcuz it’s all aoe AND some type of crowd control.

@@Thunderlord_Tozn thats kap, double bow stamblade poison dot build is prob the strongest build in the game right now. and stam dk is also quite strong with dot builds.

The ice staff immobilize was needed. DKs can immobilize and stun in the same gcd. Their snare heals them. They don't have to build into sustain and still have better sustain. They have more pressure, higher burst, and are twice as tanky in all damage sets. Just because something is new, doesn't make it OP. A lot of people jumped on the bandwagon with magden bc it changed. Well the meta has settled, and everyone knows it's no contest. Dk is easy mode.

3 months later I don't even see wardens. It's just dk nightblade. Every dk is invincible and every nb is hitting 15k incaps like nothing
