No matter how much we enjoyed all the trees and green grass, the desert still has it's own beauty. Loved your trip. Looking forward to seeing all your friends in the S W. Enjoyed mowing grass yesterday and putting the snow plow and chains on today. Now I'm really looking forward to seeing your part of the country. Hi Russ, glad to see you made it back to Arizona. I spent 25 years living in Bullhead city are used to travel through Lake Havasu and Parker and go to Quartsite all the time. I still periodically get a chance to go back there I’ve been living in New Hampshire for a while, but seeing this video, I tell you what I’m gonna be back there middle of November. I surely do like this video that you just put out. It is so perfect. Love it and sure miss it. Thanks for putting it out there.

My wife and I were on the road from May 30 thru August 18 - 82 days and 12,771 miles. That area in this video is one of our favorite places to visit. Unfortunately, it was 120° when we were there. But, we are going back next year, probable middle to end of May. Enjoyed the video. God bless.

Started March 1 and was on road for 9 weeks and 8,000 miles. Myself and two old small dogs. Did this drive and loved it.

Good to see you back in the desert! Love your summer travels but I love it when you do the quartzite videos. You probably get tired of filming around there but we love keeping up on the goings on! Hope we can look forward to more dusty nugget rides this winter. We are hoping to get out there next winter from Ohio. Keep up the good work and we'll be watching!!

I'm a second generation Phoenix native. Back when I was a kid all the snowbirds came to Phoenix. Then, as Phoenix turned into a big city, the snowbirds discovered the Colorado River Valley. It's great in the fall and winter, and I took a few trips to Lake Havasu City myself during the fall and winter, but never in the spring and summer. Because of its low elevation. the Colorado River is the hottest part of the state during the summer, and it was brutal enough in Phoenix and Tucson. I'm now living in the Dallas area, where we're getting down to the seventies and eighties for our daytime highs. I really enjoyed your videos this summer and I may decide to take a trip to the Great Lakes myself sometime. Right now I'm getting ready to take a trip to Hawaii. BTW, Russ, there are RV parks in Hawaii, and you can also rent RVs in Hawaii.

Love parker… raced in its desert for over 40 plus years. I learned long ago there is something special about this region during the winter… its magical.. and for a v e r y long time it was my yearly calling… i have myself a nice kodiak canvas stove tent, not spring bar.. Osborne wash by parker is my place of peace… the stories, the memories made there over the years… im thinking Christmas / New Years there … Hope to introduce myself, and btw, i have a dear friend that gives the,,”yea” In a pause of conversation… its endearing…

No place like home, enjoy. My dad moved to Arizona right after my mom moved to Florida. He loved the climate. 😊Once upon a time, my brother and I were almost Arizona residents. Love seeing where we could have lived. 😊😊

I went to that area a couple of years ago and there was a major storm so it led to me being able to take some fantastic photos...the skies looked absolutely amazing! Also, I have been waiting for NINE LONG MONTHS to finally get another vehicle...and I got my first VAN! I'm gonna start vlogging my travels and I WILL be in Quartzsite this January! I'M SO EXCITED! THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF THE INSPIRATION!

I've been going to the river since I was 10 at the red rooster 20 miles north of Blythe on the California side with family. All the cousins camping, fishing,water skiing. Now I have a place in Parker. I love it. Hot for 3 months but I hate the cold. Planning on retirement here and out of CA. I'll invite you here for a catfish fry. Enjoy

This area around Parker Dam has been thoroughly developed since the late 50s. Wow. It was so idyllic back in the day..we parked our trailer in a small trailer park on the east side of the river just below the dam...BEAUTIFUL.

Here in southern Oklahoma, our leaves will be changing, along with our first 32F night's arrival, the first week of November. Last year, we didn't get the first light snow until January. I wish global warming would speed up. Oddly, we usually have a spell of spring-like days around Thanksgiving.

What a great road trip! Amazing scenic byways, museums, lakes, drone flights and lots of trees. Great seeing desert views again. Wonder how many states you still need to visit. I spent $5.49 a gallon of gas north of Phoenix couple of weeks ago, I don't think I spent that much in my life. Relax a little and then show us more of the desert and mountains views. Thank you Russ for what you do for your viewers.

Note, area is not quite Tesla or EV charging ready yet. There are a few destination chargers, but reserved for resort guests. So bring your wall charger just in case. I heard that there is a Tesla charger at a RV store that the store lets people use for free. The 100 plus heat zaps the battery. We slowed down and made it to Joshua tree. I'm sure chargers will come, but be prepared. Also, there are chargers at Quartzite

No Airbnb at Havasu Springs. You're not "supposed" to rent out your mobile home. It's the lease. They have a couple of motels, the mobile homes, and RV sites. The condos at the top are separate from HSR, but have access to the amenities. And the restaurant is darn good to. Highly recommend and sunset.

@@rvertv we’ve gotten a lot of entertainment, relaxation & education over the years. I have a sense of what places are like that I probably will never visit even though I travel for a living. The Wife & I thought you should get some help during this trip. Lots of work traveling, planning cool visits, filming and editing. Almost feels like we are getting home too!
