Back in the World Ch'ship in December he respected Luke when he lost the match not only because of how good he is, but because of the confidence Now he treats him like he doesn't care
He doesn't even think about 185 because the Canadian is so bad that it doesn't matter whether it's a 5 or an 8. I've heard he's actually a curling player, hopefully he can assess his level there

Awww poor baby Matt Campbell, looked like he wanted to pack his darts up and go home before it had even finished. Luke is 5-0 up and has 9 darts to finish, he is fully entitled to take it out any way he wants!
As an amateur player I once checked out 122 with 60, 60, double 1. My opponent didn't do a Campbell - he just congratulated me and laughed at the feat. I never expected to hit treble 20 twice in a row - that's VERY rare for me :)

@@EuropeanQualifiersHub I hear you - one guy at our club, where 180s are maybe two in 6 months, actually busted with 180 left. He wept for a very long time, since we get a six pack of beer for a 180 and his didn't count 🤣

Luke should really laugh these players off. Who the hell does Campbell think he is 😂 If you can't compete with an absolute maniac like Littler it's not a shame and you should just take it with humour.

@@Tommyboy-gx9zt Please enlighten me as to how that was disrespectful. What was disrespectful was Campbell not going straight over and shaking his hand. I am a darts player and I don’t care what my opponent does I focus on my game. Littler or any darts player can play how they want to. The answer is to be better, Littler left himself with 5 be in a position to punish him for it.

I am backing 2 players, maybe 3, Rob Cross because he's always been my favourite, Luke Littler because i just know from his playing that he is going to win this and just for a player from across the pond to support from North America, Canada i think Jeff Smith could be in the mix of my top 3
Love the American crowd, you get the feeling they are actually there to watch darts instead of the crowds in England and Europe nowadays. They manage to cheer their folks on without relying on whistling and booing the other players, more events to the fans who deserve it
Agreed, they pay to be entertained and not just get to drunk and be lairy. Luke Littler understood that, hence the cheeky 180 in the deciding leg against Campbell, he was giving them value for money.
Id love to know what's happened to him. It feels like he could lose to 60-70 average pub players at the minute. I hope he wins this tournament to get some confidence back.
I reckon Littler was trying for a 140 but couldn't help hitting the treble 20; then again - nah - he was just belittling Campbell, who then demonstrated how much he deserved it.
