I noticed some similarities between cowboys and bedouin arab. The bedouin in Saudi Arabia still drives their camels hundreds of miles in the winter and heading north for pasture then they go back to the south near water sources in summer. I have some questions though how many miles the cattle can walk from sunrise to sunset (12 hours)? Also, how many days the cattle can walk? Thanks 😊
The regulations for droving cattle is a minimum of 5 miles per day but depending on conditions they can do more. From Wiki - "Cattle are expected to cover about ten miles (16 km) a day, sheep about six miles (9.7 km), and are permitted to spread up to 800 metres (half a mile) on either side of the road."
Depends how big your station is Anna creek station 24 thousand square miles How big are your over there Also 46 % of Aus is tropical and Australia is 95 % not occupied
