Communism sucked of course (although the kleptocratic oligarchies that took its place aren't that much better), but the women in the former Eastern bloc countries (Czech, Slovak, Polish, Romanian, and Ukrainian especially) are mind-blowingly gorgeous...glad you showed that, something that I never understood until I actually spent some time in that part of the world.

Nothing wrong with the video mechanical wise, but it completely misses the point of the song. It is a parody of the Beach Boys, which is important to understand because both the Beach Boys AND The Beatles were appealed to America during the 60-70s because of the Hippie Movement. After Abbey Road, the Beatles had idolized the ideas of the New Left Movement in the US, meaning they supported drug legalization, universal welfare, and "free love" (destigmatization of homosexuality and extramarital relations). For all thoughts and purposes, the Beatles were extremely Liberal. John Lennon was a bit more Left-Extremist, idealizing a more anarchist or 'permanent revolution' as might be articulated by Leon Trotsky. The split between Trotsky and Stalin was coopted by many Hippies as explaining their non-Marxist-Leninist, but undoubtedly Communist ideology. So, to clarify. Many Hippies were liberals. Many hippies were also communists. The Beatles were Liberals and John Lennon was a leftist. This is what destroys the conflation on the Right between Liberal and Communist. Liberals much more favor a free market capitalist system with multi-party democracy, but believe the rule of law assumes the priority of citizens to tear down existing power structures (racism, sexism, homophobia, and xenophobia). Communists have the ability to be much more conservative, believing the road to equality exists solely in material aims (distribution of wealth and safety nets). It is for this reason many former Trump supporters have actually become Communists, and vise versa. Many other Leftists, like John Lennon, take the notion of equality more literally and support the destruction of money and the state to achieve a classless, moneyless society with no government (baseline Communism).

By your use of the word Socialist I am sure that you are comparing the Nationalist Socialist Workers Party and Communist Dictatorships and not Western Democratic Republics which are in no way to be confused with Communist Dictatorships.

This has its wonderful moments but is not uniformly true to the era, showing newer jets, not showing the old BOAC planes nor the distinctively Russian jets. The women are great and, when old Soviet uniforms, and military gear, and especially the beautiful women in old soviet uniforms it is wonderful. But there are too many anachronisms in this. Hate to say it but the DEVO one is better and hits the nail right on the head. But I appreciate your effort, too.
