Rookie Larry Bird went 10 & 0 vs. the 1979 NBA MVP Moses Malone. I met Earl Campbell at halftime of Game 4 in Houston of that series in the Summit when all the kids got in line to meet him!

Dodgers lost 3 World Series between the 1972 and 1980 Lakers championships, not 4

That Sonic team would have taken the Lakers to seven (at least) if they didn't blow that big lead in Game 4.

No doubt that game was a big momentum swing, also not being able to play in the Kingdome wasn't ideal. Seattle had virtually the same team that beat the Lakers in the playoffs 4-1 the year before, but of course that was before Magic made his debut.
