We have been to pie heaven several times. We are from Ohio but when we go to visit Jacksonville to visit family a trip there is always part of the trip. We get the chicken pot pie. It's the best we have ever had. Now because of this video we will have to go again. The craving is real. Thanks.

Thanks for the great story from the lady who loves the Lord like we do. I can’t get enough about people who talk about their faith boldly like she does. My heart goes off to you for sharing this. We thank you for your channel. Look forward to meet you on the road someday. We just bought our first class a motorhome. God has been prompting me to start preaching at camp sites. What a wonderful testimony ! We attended friend's wedding Sept 2018 (during hurricane winds !) at Hanna and grabbed a savory pie at Pie Heaven. Didn't know the background, so thank you ! Great Pie Story...I met a Lady who had some type of Communication from God...The next thing you know she was a missionary in Africa for decades... She spoke in the same cadance and simplicity as this (Pie) lady spoke...As if you believed her, fine and if you didn't, that was fine too....Didnt make a difference to her or not...In the end, we're all a part of something great...Peace...

Michelle, have you ever had a Hershey chocolate candy bar pie? It is so easy to make! 1 graham cracker crust (ready made), 8 pack Hershey plain or almond candy bars (melted in microwave), 1 large container Cool Whip topping, stir melted candy bars and fold in CW topping, poor in graham cracker crust, put in fridge until set! Save some w topping to put on top to dress it up and you can also shave some chocolate off of one of the candy bars to sprinkle on top of the cool whip topping to make it even fancier. ENJOY! I made this for work, family, holidays, church...and everyone wants to know where I bought it at. Most of the time my eleven-year-old granddaughter was the one that had made it! LOL!

in a couple yrs we plan on doing a lot more rving when my husband retires and we want to go to Florida. ive never been there and now I want pie from this lovely place! lol my poor husband had to go thru "the change" with me for over a decade...poor guy! but he was awesome, even turned on the a/c in the middle of winter for me and he didnt get upset with me when I would stand with the freezer door open while I stuck my head in lol. once I changed my eating habits that all stopped thank goodness!

@@LivinRVision I used to eat the standard American diet. I had quite a few heath issues including type 2 diabetes, congestive hear failure, and pulmonary hypertension. and very overweight. I found out about the carnivore diet and decided to try it for 90 days. within about 6 weeks I was getting some good results and starting to feel better. altho I haven't lost a lot of weight I have cured the diabetes, I no longer have chest pain from chf or pulmonary hypertension as well as a lot of other health issues improved or cured including menopause. I cant do keto cuz there is still too much temptation for me personally. so I eat lots of meat, eggs, some fish and chicken and a whole bunch of bacon! cut out ALL seed oils, grains, sugars and ultra processed foods. I have deviated and cheated but almost always regret it lol. except for carrot cake...i eat that for special occasions. for holidays I have gone keto for the day which I dont consider cheating since carnivore is just a subset of keto.

So glad you were able to get much healthier. We both felt much better when we were doing the keto diet for the two years we lasted, until we started eating more carbs and then the cravings came on strong and the next thing you know, here we are back to the beginning again. We did good when we would just cheat once a week (Pie day) and return to keto. Carrot cake is one of Brian’s favorites too. It’s hard to find a good gluten free one though.

I cant see myself ever going back to eating all the crap i used to. I do miss some stuff but not enough to put my health at risk. good thing I like steak A LOT! lol

As we travel there have been a lot of bakeries that have had a GF carrot cake. Nothing as good as what a friend of ours makes though. We can’t even tell it’s GF and we know it is because she is gluten intolerant as well. Keep being good to your body. 🧡 Here’s to better health! 🥂

Oh I'd be trying the apple pie and chocolate cream pie. Sorry Michelle but a true Key Lime pie is supposed to be tart. :-) My Mother always used graham crackers for the crust and meringue for the topping. I like regular crust and whipped cream better now. I'd love a good key lime pie right about now but after being in Florida for so long I'm sure you are tired of them. I'll be checking out Iris Global too. Thank you for sharing her story. Doing my research about B vans , Your real life experience is very helpful, Especially unbiased information about how long the lithium batteries can run the coach. Grech needs to give people a place to comment about what they would like to see on future coaches, such as , Removable induction cooktop. Somethings are better cooked outside, they should never be afraid to adopt ideas from other coach makers, guarantee you , they will not be slow about co-opting all of the best ideas from Grech . We were in Jacksonville when you were there! We were volunteering at Eden Gardens Eco Farm for two weeks. That would have been fun running into you - well . . . I would not have hit you too hard! : ) Be safe! We have a 2018 DIY Ford Transit we built two years ago and we do trips, but would never go full time. We have 18 grandkids! Blessings!

Eden Gardens is part of the Go To Nations missionary organization. We are heading back in six weeks. Next winter, we may spend two months there. Eden Gardens is only 44 minutes from Pie Heaven, so we will go there for sure. Blessings!

Hey Brian, wondering if the Gretch also requires DEF to get going. I'm finding that so many gas stations sell you Diesel but don't have DEF at the pump. They will sell you the 1 gal and 2.5 gal jugs in the store and charge you a lot for it but not at the pump...

The DEF lasts for quite a long time. In 6 months time we have only put a jug in 3 times.

I am not a big pie eater although I always loved making them. But I never did make key lime pie and I love pecan pie but I was the only one that liked it so I never made that either. I'm wondering if they ship pies because I'm right here in Florida but I'm not sure I want to drive up to Jacksonville. But maybe I can take a day-trip sometime up there. Well, even though this van is the exact same Mercedes as the last, it seems to do a little worse than the first one. It would average about 16-17ish and this seems to be 14-15ish average. Probably needs to be checked out. Lol Most people claim to get that 17mpg range like we used to.

We have been not been sick a couple times since we’ve been traveling full-time and we did not need medical attention either time (thankfully and knock-on-wood). We have had dentist and dermatologist appointments which we just simply make whenever we are going to be in one area for a while.
