Welcome! My first real taste of hiking in the south island mountains in NZ! Can't believe this was all I got to see, but hopefully there'll be plenty more of this to come!

Unfortunately didn't get to make it to Blue Lake on this trip, but it's on the bucket list for next time!

Absolutely, sometimes hiking in the rain is one of the best experiences. Although I have to say I ended up getting VERY wet and cold on the return trip back to town. It poured down!
