I can't imagine how many hours of film and hours of editing went into that 14 minute video. Hats off to you dude. Incredible work. I'd love to see a "behind the scenes" video one day of how you marry aviation and cinema.
this guy is living my dream!! reminds me to never give up being a general aviation pilot and enjoy flying and do all sort of fun staff Thanks for the amazing content!
Chelsea is a catch and a half, Josh. Beautiful, smart, and lots of personality and a fellow lover of all things aviation! You would be a fool not to put a rock on that finger! Just my opinion! 😉
Right!? I ran into the two of them at Oshkosh. She is absolutely gorgeous and adorable! And she loves aviation?! I mean come on!! What more could you ask for!! Dude!! Ask her already!! You could live stream the wedding on RU-vid!!
Lake Hood. What a view! You can look one direction and watch seaplanes fly in and out and the other direction and see jumbo jets fly in and out. Pilots and flying buffs heaven!
I’ve been hooked on your videos for a long time now because of a shared passion for aviation. But after getting about halfway through this one, I have to stop and commend you on your passionate attention to detail in regards to filmmaking. You’ve gotten extremely proficient at putting these videos together in a beautiful way, so great job and thank you. 👍
The awe of the weird daylight hours goes both ways. I live in central Alberta where the sun doesn’t go down until around 11pm in the summer and was blown away by the pitch black early evening hours on a trip to Hawaii a few years ago. So weird to see it dark so early in the summer.
Man I hated that it ended. I would watch hours of your Documentaries. You have what it takes in the movie world and your a dam good pilot. Make a longer one next time. Thank you!
I just wanted to let you know Josh my grandson was 7-8 years old when we started watching you. You're plane sure has changed, we started binging you're videos and have a long ways to go. I just watched you fly to Florida and watching the new glass 🥂 WOW I can hardly wait to see you in Oshkosh this year. Noah my grandson is 14 now and studying his ground school
Josh, I owe you a beer if you're ever in Arizona. Your videos have helped me get over a kind of mental block and renewed my drive to finish my PPL. For that, my friend, I'm grateful. If you ever make it here to Arizona, let me know. I would love to meet up, do some flying and have a beer with you.
wow you the third one of my favorite youtubers to go to Alaska and get their float plane endorsement. one went all the way to the Beaver. Wish I had the money to pursue it.
I spent 20 yrs living , working and flying in Alaska. I had a J3 Cub on floats. Watching your video today brought happy tears to my 75 yr old eyes. I retired to AZ, but nothing and I mean nothing compares to Alaska! Great work sir!
You really kicked it up a notch. The production value is off the charts! Congratulations this channel has come so far. I'm really on the edge of my seat and blown away by the videography on this one.
Hi Josh and Chelsea! Greetings from NE Patagonia, Argentina. Your footage is amazing. I´ll wait for the next episode to "fly" with you. I really enjoy your videos. Cheers!
Awesome! Can’t wait for the rest of this series. Love Alaska and love floatplanes. Chelsea seems like a great soulmate! You might want to think about locking in….
I have been waiting for another aviation 101 video for a while already! I’m super pumped about another Alaska series. I watched the previous one multiple times and hope to go visit Alaska someday.
I buddy hope you are well. Alaska looks awesome good luck with your project keep well and keep safe philip nice to see you and Chelsea plus friends.🇬🇧✌👍
Nice to see you back in Alaska for the finishing your float rating will also be watching Chelsea. Love your channel and as you probably remember that I have been following you from the beginning practically. Have fun you two.
I hope to someday make it up there. My brother worked on the pipe line for a few years. His pictures where wonderful from up there. Looking forward to the series. Take care - be safe.
This reminds me of the Alaska series back in 2019 that I used to watch when I finished school and I was getting ready to start my ATPL training. Now after two years I finished my integrated ATPL and now I am doing the FI (A) course. This new series brings back really good times to my mind and it motivates me, even more, to keep pushing for my dreams. Top quality as always!
Your Alaska series before was the best ever. Got to say your even better on the new series. Now, get that multi rating asap. Why? Because back in 1973 a Cherokee 140 rental was $16hr wet, CFI Instructor $8hr
In a Word: Awesome! Alaska is my favorite State to visit and Talkeetna tops the list of locations to spend a few days in... and then there is Denali. No words can adequately describe Denali!
Welcome back to Alaska Josh! I'm glad you brought Chelsea! Love that you were up here again! Great video as usual and look forward to the rest of the series!
Did my float plane add-on in NC, but I flew my A1-B Husky land plane up to Anchorage from NC and back. Epic! I have flown into Talkeetna to visit a friend. Gotta go back when we can.
Welcome back! Such a great video. I tell people AK is an amazing place to live and fly, but it's not an easy place. Winters are long and dark, and in Anchorage we drive on ice and snow 6 months of the year. But for those who embrace the highs and lows AK has to offer, it's utterly amazing.
@Aviation101, This is beyond AWESOME! My little brother lives in Anchorage and I can't wait to get up there for some real bush flying. I am eager to see your next videos!
always such a pleasure following you. wanted to get my seaplane add-on last year but pushed it bcause of covid. pencelling that in for summer 22 - ideally in alaska.
You’ve created a bucket list item for me in 2019. Looking forward to AlaskaFloat and Skies seaplane rating course one day. Excited to see the rest of this series!
Just catching up on this series, I want to grab my seaplane rating soon here in Central FL. The FAA examiner for my PPL/IFR used to own the seaplane base there in the Leesburg, FL area. He said he is also the examiner for the seaplanes...of course:) haha
Sweet!! I was wondering when y’all were going to head up there & finish the ASES. I was there for 2 weeks in September, got my float rating in N1562A, great flying little bird! Looking forward to your series👍
This is so awesome! I've loved and watched the 2019 Alaska adventure a few times. I'm really excited to see a new series. Seeing Chris #angleofattack landing, It felt like I was seeing a friend's reunion. Seeing new friends like CFI David from NC was also cool, being I'm from NC as well. I would love to know what part of NC as I hope to be finding a CFI very soon. I'm actually rewatching a slightly older Discovery series called Flying Wild Alaska. Needless to say visiting Alaska one day soon is certain on my adventure list.
I love it there i cry every time i leave and im 41 years old iv got 41 acres just off parks highway with a cabin if i had my way i would never leave ...but im married and she dont like winter.
