Loved the one with the shark cage. Also, I live in the USA, Texas specifically. Some of the public (patrolled) beaches here have bright ropes set up in front of rips which are adjusted daily. I like them because they seem to help non English speakers understand a bit better and they physically block the entrance to the water.
I am absolutely stunned at the number of people who go into the water who can’t swim or barely swim. If it weren’t for the lifeguards, they would all drown due to their incredibly foolish behaviour. I am born and bred Aussie but not a great swimmer. I stick to swimming pools. Or paddling at the waters edge with my grandchildren. That’s just common sense.
I don't get why people that can't swim or aren't strong swimmers, don't just wear life-vests when they enter the water, if they want to go in past knee-to-waist depth??? Such a simple and effective solution to avoid drowning!! At least the lifeguards don't have to panic to get you back in, close to shore if you're still afloat!!
seeing the cameramen helping as well is actually so insane. It really puts into perspective just how much danger people are in. I hope the cameraman is doing well
I was just thinking the same thing! I love that they’re not the kind that think filming someone drowning is more important than saving their life. Their camera crew are goated 🥰
That girl that kept putting herself into danger made me angry. I agree with what he said. Because she is putting other people at risk who might actually be in danger. I’m glad they took her away. Maybe she’ll have time to actually think about why she shouldn’t be doing that I admire that they dont SCREAM at them. They need a vacation fr. Thank you for all you do guys!!!❤
Him getting onto the girl for being rude when he was trying to give her phone back made my day. It also surprised me, I didn’t expect him to say anything
@@BondiRescue thats so True!! You'all doing such a good job, I think I can speak for everyone who's watching this, that we are so greatfull and so much other things to help the people who needs help. I am addicted to watch your vids. Thank u so much to keep eyes out for people! You all are doing a grest great job!! ❤️
Lydia’s family lives 50 km from the beach so they rarely visit it?!? Wow living in Texas is a whole different experience! I have had jobs that were 50 km (30ish miles) one way. 😅
@@Archaneleo the problem is not that there not able too swim. the problem is that they go into deep water anyway and dont read the signs that are all over the place.
I hope that one girl who almost drowned again is ok. She didn’t seem attention-seeking in the way that most are thinking. It really looked like a cry for mental help. She seemed suicidal but not wanting to die (hence choosing a beach with lifeguards). If that was the case then I don’t think she was wasting time, she was trying to get help in the only way she knew how (depression makes people make irrational decisions).
I really respected the man who had the sense to immobilize the guy who ran into his hip and then lost feeling in his body... According to the closed captioning, he was training as a a "car refactor." I don't know what that is, but I'm pretty sure refactoring cars doesn't have anything to do with the spine, so good on him
Maybe it would be helpful to get the common phrases printed out and laminated in Korean, Mandarin, Japanese, Indonesian, perhaps add Spanish, French and German. It could just be resident in the buggies and jet skis. There aren't that many phrases you use all the time: swim between yellow and red flags, you can't swim here, no drinking on the beach, is this yours, do you feel sick, did you hit your head, what/where is your pain, if you don't stop, I'm calling the police, no touching women or children. Anyway, just a thought. The attempt to use the phone for this process has seemed to be just as likely to fail. The piece of laminated paper could be handed to the person to pick their own language.
I'm super jealous! I want beach xmas! Unfortunately for me, I'm physically disabled, mostly bed bound and broke af bc I live in the US so: medical bills
I wish rescue folks here in the U.S. can insist patients go to the hospital - but get it that Australia provides free healthcare so that is probably why they can "insist' folks go to the E.R - but thinking non-residence have the option not to go?
Every beach I’ve gone too has never had life guards so if ur in trouble your the only one who can do something or a bystander that’s why there’s so much going wrong where I live
I have Crohn’s Disease IDK if that was the problem but abdominal pain is no joke that Lil boy was in severe pain and I’m 51 I can’t even stand that pain!
… I genuinely dont understand, why do people go in the ocean if they can’t swim?! idk if ive just given people too much credit thinking the phrase “don’t go in the water if you can’t swim” was common sense all over the planet or if its like some kind of cultural issue maybe, but the people who go into the ocean who openly admit they can’t swim is really frustrating to watch. They don’t even have any fear until they’re at the point of drowning! Why would you come to a beach and decide to go into the water if you have absolutely no idea how to swim, that’s having zero self preservation instinct.
I feel that group from Asia should have had an adult that spoke English. Like taking a field trip to another country and doing an activity that could be dangerous. Making sure someone could communicate effectively is important. If that man was with them they should have called him over. Thank goodness he was persistent in getting the message across
You all are doing a very good job !! ❤ thankfull for the lifeguards to put their lives in danger to rescue others. I love watching to you guys. SO MUCH LOVE FROM THE NETHERLANDS!! 💖 🌊
Little bit draumatized. Problem with that is it is a very serious job and doesn't need to be draumatized. So when some scenes get over draumatized it can make people take lifeguards jobs and work less seriously.
