Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.
In #BondiRescue the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and #lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxi, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. 1:29:52 Huntsman Spiders may be huge but 99.999% of them are completely non-aggressive toward humans, they only want to run away from us. A lot of Australians have learned to cohabitate with them in their homes because they’re so amazing at controlling pests :) 1:38:41 i’m so happy he chased him with the rat 😂

Those people are usually just ignorant to the water and don't respect it or some genuinely just don't know any better is what I'd think. I could be wrong though I love swimming but I was a river and lake kid I have mad respect for waters and currents but not everyone is taught water safety. But I do agree if you can't swim you shouldn't go amy farther than you can walk oceans are not forgiving but they are beautiful.

You would be surprised how quickly just putting your toes in the water can turn into an unexpected wave taking you in. If you don't know how the water works it can be hard to tell if a wave is going to swipe you or take you down.

Poor bees, guess the Lifeguards aren't aware what swarming is. *When hives get too crowded, or unsuitable to live in, the bees separate and take off in a swarm. Along the way to finding a new location, they'll take a break and stop somewhere to rest. They ball up like that for protection, somewhere in the middle of that clump is the Queen bee. These swarms don't last long, usually a few hours (though some can last days if the weather/conditions aren't right for them to continue their flight). If the Queen dies, that entire swarm will most certainly die too since they don't have a nest to rear a new Queen.

the fact they didnt call someone to come and collect the bees is tragic imo. Especally them being honeybees. So important for the world.

I was just about to comment something similar. They should have called somebody to collect the swarm, they just all died. Tragic. We need to take care of our bees, they are extremely important.

I've witnessed someone get pulled from the bottom of a pool (they survived but just barely). This person could swim and it was a pool! Getting in the freaking ocean and you can't swim is insane!

So sad no one knew what to do with the bees. It was a swarm, buried under the mass of bees is the queen. They are not dangerous as they are filled with honey. The oncoming rain forced them to stop and protect the queen until the rain stops. They could easily been shaken into a box, any bees that didn’t land in the box would simply fly wherever the queen is to protect her. To have them dump in the street and cars running them over is heartbreaking for me as a beekeeper

@@Nothanks450 yea I was pretty sad when I saw that too. But everyone was wearing little to no protection so I guess no one dared try to handle them. Any theories on what the queen was doing there instead of being safe in the middle of a hive? Could they have had their previous hive destroyed or compromised so they were out finding a new location when the storm hit? My dad did have a hive when I was a kid but I remember they all abandoned the hive when beetles infested it

@@BondiRescue I’ll answer this one! Haha the counting prank on Maxie. When they gave him a counter and told him to count everyone on the beach had me rolling! And for Jesse….it has to be the rat catching moment, (or lack of catching) when it jumped out of the bucket towards his face. Poor guy haha.

Yes. I appreciate this episode very much as well. I’m an experienced swimmer- but from Minnesota. I found out that swimming in a lake is very different from swimming in the ocean the hard way. Stay safe out there.

My children have grown up in OC MD and everyday when we got to the beach, the first thing we do before going in the o en is ask the lifeguards what the conditions are and where to swim as safe as possible. They are now teenagers and still swim in front of the lifeguards and ask how the water is❤️❤️❤️❤️🙂🙂

Honeybees are not endemic to Australia, North America, Western Europe.. they're from Southern Europe, Asia, and Africa. Honeybees are a livestock animal that provide competition to native pollinators. They are not even remotely threatened, but they do carry diseases that can decimate native bee populations. Native pollinators - solitary bees, bumblebees (not for Australia), bats, moths, wasps, birds, flies, etc.

We tried an experiment with some Promo Point of Sale signs. People were walking past them with noticing they were. So we turned them upside down, and a good 50% of Customers spotted them. Worth a try!

@@BondiRescue I don't remember which season or episode it was but I remember he was about heartbroken about almost losing the person that he couldn't have went down that quick. But he did.... Fortunately I believe the person ended up living. He was just so worried for the person and for the person's family. You can see the goodness from within him. The fact that he's good-looking that's nice icing on the top.

Bees on the bike are just there for a fly break. They are travelling somewhere and just like anyone else they need to re-charge and also not fly in the heavy rain. If you put down a bug shallow bowl with sugar water in it. They will will drink up and leave when they are ready. Poor bees.

I accidentally met a rip once on holiday in bulgaria and hadn't realised til mum said where are you going, I looked and noticed I was being taken out slowly to sea and went ah, excuse me a minute. I knew how to get out plus it wasn't that strong so got out no issue. Then I said that I believe was a rip.

The queen bee has landed on the backpack and her worker bees will swarm around her for protection. They are not attacked to what’s in the pack. Drive off and let nature do its thing, maybe do some research on bees and you will understand what bees do and how they live.

When bees swarm like that call a bee guy (look under honey) that is local and ask him to come get them. They will be happy to get a new hive. Those bees are looking for a new home.
