Back to Basics: SCADA 

For my field of work, and I think this also goes for what we're dealing with here, HMI stands for Human-Machine Interface (or sometimes Interaction). In other words, HMI is about the graphical interface with which the user interacts. Hope that helped.

I have no clue what the heck this video is talking about and we had to watch it for a national infrastructure class. Maybe it is foreign to me because I am going for a career change and they forget that most of us are doing so. I would rather find the actual script version of this video that way I can highlight it
