i was on Bussey this past friday, saturday , and sunday, got to town at 5 on friday and went straight to the lake. took me 15 minutes of fishing the far end of the wind break to tell my buddy "the shad spawn is on, those fish are gonna be chasing." i caught a 3.5 pounder 5 minutes later suspended in a bush. i knew right then what the deal was. caught 5 over 3, missed one better than 6 before the pros took their ride around sat. morning, she pulled the skirt off the spinnerbait but didnt get hook. i was holding my spinnerbait rod with the white spinnerbait on it as all the pros took off past us around the lake.... im not saying i told Alton Jones jr what to do but he might have seen me and realized what i was saying LOL. we were hoping to see you and DC in the final, looking forward to seeing you there next year
