I am sure you have heard of Easy Rider biker magazine that's still around but back in the 90s they built the Easy Riders streamliner to run on the salt flats that was powered by 2 Nitro burning Shovel Head Harley Davidson engines that took the world land speed record for fastest motorcycle from Kawasaki who had it for a number of years . The HD streamliner set a new record of over 320 mph that held for 16 years before it was broke again . I think you can still buy the video of this from Pisano publications which is owned by Easy Riders magazine to get a copy of it to watch it but not sure . I remember back in the day I was able to rent the movie from a video rental store and it was pretty crazy what these guys did & some of the problems they had along the way when trying to set the record . I have tried to find the whole movie here on RU-vid but can only see certain parts of it for some reason probably copy right protected I think by Pisano publications so the only real way of watching the whole movie is to buy a copy of it from them .

@@fidelcatsro6948 Meh I'd say better than that guy. Scotty is a little out of tune in more ways than one. Although indeed knowledgeable he kinda goes buy a lot of stat. based experience...for example he's pretty negative about the reliability of Mitsubishi cars, saying they're made cheaply hence why they're affordable. However I could say that just about any brand car much like those are quite capable of burning oil at the 130k mile mark. When you can buy a new Mitsubishi for less money than it's competitors with a 10 year/100k mile warranty to back it up I'd say they are the best bang for the buck. Of course Scotty Kilmer may have a point in the sense that he's constantly relating to cheap skates like himself in the used vehicle market but still used vehicles any given brand have unknowns and therefore are a crapshoot.

It's not to say I don't learn a lot from Scotty Kilmer and he is right on point with a lot of known modern vehicle issues however the nugget of it all is they are simply beasts of burden and nothing money won't take care of. However Wheels thru time is dealing with priceless antique machines that founded the path for our great motorcycle industry of today.

Sounds FANTASTIC Matt and VERY responsive to inputs. Ive seen some board track racers that shoot fire out of the bases of the cylinders, can you please elaborate on what thats all about? I've never seen anything like that before on a HD.
You know the thing I love about watching these videos about old Harleys? It's proof that it doesn't have to be overweight, under powered, and handle like garbage to be a Harley.. You could have your cake and eat it too back in the day.. Now if only modern Harley Davidson could figure that out. I wish someone would take molds off of all those old engines and reproduce them so they won't be lost to time when all of them are used up or rust away. Something I'd love to do would be to take those iconic engines and improve them.. Like taking a Crocker and casting the cylinders and machining the heads out of aluminum to massively drop the weight and then up the compression and increase the valve size.. same with the old Harleys and Indians as well as even the Brough Superior and Vincent engines that were mostly iron.
Hope its there when I can visit this year...it doesn't have enough drool on it! If ever there was a good reason to add a subwoofer to your av system, this video is that good reason. That thing sounds really modern with that throttle response! Just trying to figure out a single cam setup- does it have 4 seperate lobes or does it fire in a way that it only uses 2 lobes with 2 lifter riding on each lobe?

He should try to get all other Motorcycles from M.A.S.H TV series and Fonzies too also Billy Gray's from Father Knows Best at least have him bring some of his Racing Motorcycles from his own collection also that try to get Batman and Bat Girl bikes. Also Evil Knevil bikes also Get the motorcyle from the original Movie of The Greatest Escape that Steve McQueen used. Just love this video of his. I never got the chance to own a motorcycle but I like to support the motorcycle company. By getting some TShirts .
