Not only is the structure good, but the cover art is also amazing. It conveys the idea that this song is about Kim. Ty’s part where he says “you’ll be running back to me” makes more sense with this cover art.
In the context of the album everything changes, doesn’t mean this isn’t amazing. This is obviously art, maybe if it was on a relative comp it could shine like the released
The OG song is structurally similar to Runaway but with the opposite sentiment, which feels sad because the point of view here is less self aware than Runaway. Also the difference with that song is they are together and Ye is singing runaway I’m an asshole. And here she’s gone and he’s singing after her like “I know you’ll be running back to me”, but it feels like lying to himself. This is the song the “Runaway” asshole makes after she actually leaves.
I also really like how the line "Beautiful, naked, big-titty women just don't fall out the sky, you know?" directly reflects plot of the Runaway movie, which starts by a beautiful woman just falling from the sky into Kanye's life.
@@nah656 really? imo the piano track in the intro makes the quote all the more sentimental. it sounds like it would be the from the quote’s movie score idk. and the transition could’ve been smoother, sure, but i’d say the addition of the piano chords to the original beat made it feel perfectly cohesive.
People always saying this no matter when or what Kanye drops. This exavt comment in every comment everywhere. But this beat is definitely not as good at the release. You can say "oh it transitioned" but no, not really. This mix/beat is inferior. The flow is better? The arrangement is better?. The song is definitely not. But I know any song or video I watch is gonna have "the other version is better" 24/7. Unfortunate. Not even mad. Just pointing it out. It wouldn't have been close to some "top song of Kanye" list regardless

absolutely phenomenal, nowadays when Ye and Carti drop, I have to wait for fans to remake the intended versions and drop on youtube, don't get me wrong Ye still got it, but he definitely flip-flops on stuff and scraps so many songs that could have been even more beautiful and amazing if they dropped at all (Yandhi... sigh) or properly re-worked
No. Wouldve disrupted the albums flow. You guys have to think in context that the individual song is apart of a concept. All the songs rely on each other

@@TurboGrafxs1x no I use it to defend what I hear when I listen to the album as a whole. It's clear this wouldn't fit as well. The opening especially wouldn't match the vibe of the album.

I can agree with that. The way the album version cuts in on this is very clunky. I’m this either needed to be an interlude or the piano needs to be mixed in to the beat itself
This gives the song proper mixing, proper progression, and it gives it a soul (I personally dont even care about the piano intro). If you look back on the original, you could see how soulless it feels in comparison.
I hope when they go on tour they make this a tour exclusive to play live just like Ye did for some songs on the yeezus tour. Mike Dean needs to be there to add his sauce as well with electric guitars/synths
I think kanye's was manic when he released vultures 1 or at least it reflects that side of his bi-polar. This feels much more the depressed side, missing his old life. The lyrics make more sense coming from the latter midframe but by the sounds of the Vultures 1 version Kanye edited it to fit with the manic vibe of the rest of the tracks.
i wish this was the version on the album and then later hed drop the current version like vultures havoc & juice version i generally wish vultures had more of a direction and a meaning instead, this sounds way deeper idk how to explain it
